Questions & Answers
Californian ones had a wonderful tart flavor and were from California. taste bland and plump, and they are more plump than the apricots we grow in California. It was delicious to eat the tart California ones.
It does not contain any added sugar, based on the label. It's just the way things are. You can tell they're much better than those imported from other countries. It has a slight tartness that I love - My parents gave me the same ones when I was a kid.
There are two halves of apricots. It was delicious.
On the bag is a listing for sulphur dioxide. The sulfur dioxide they use turns the fruits brown if not used. Apricots grown in the United States tend to be tart rather than the cheaper Turkish apricots, which tend to be sweet but with little flavor.

This dried Blenheim apricot is bursting with a strong apricot scent and full of flavor. A true apricot should be like Blenheim and Moorpark. With the exception of Moorpark, there is no variety that can match the aroma of Blenheim. The apricots from these trees are not like the wimpy, sweet, and totally tasteless Turkish apricots and other bland modern apricots that are so common It is the only negative aspect of this particular grower's dried apricots that they taste quite sour, a sign that they were picked before fully ripe, but even so, the aroma is quite rich. The B&M brand is also one from which I have purchased products There is a brand called R which is considerably more expensive, but B&W works just fine There is a noticeable difference between this brand and R in terms of sweetness and sourness.
They do not taste soft and mushy but are somewhat The ones I found had to be hunted for and tried several before I found them. These are the kind of people I like. The taste and texture of these dried apricots are exactly as natural as they should be. The taste of the candy is an individual preference, so if you're looking for sweet, soft and colorful, these aren't tasted some dark Turkish meze (to me) that had an odd taste. Also, I tried the sweetened soft ones and held out on them (they were not to my taste).
In the past, we've always purchased our apricots from Trader Joe's because my wife has a preference for the California apricots over The Trader Joe's was out of apricots, so I went to a grocery store that had apricots There was no need to call another number to find out what else was available. According to the reviews, Sincerely Nuts California apricots are great, so I thought it was worth experimenting with. Sincerely Nuts apricots were the switchover, and I didn't tell my wife, but after she ate a couple of them, she asked where I got them. She told me Trader Joe's was "gone since you left" when I told her what I had done. The large, rich, and flavorful pastry is worth the extra cost. It is a little more expensive, but well worth it. This is the one for us!.
It's a delicious treat, so tasty! Having loved California apricots since the early 1980s, I thought it was about time for them to come back. As these are replaced by less tasty, plainer Turkish or Mediterranean apricots, stores gradually replace these with more expensive California apricots are likely sensitive to turning brown etc. , hence their obvious sensitivity to this. Loss of money is likely at the stores. Apricots that come in a natural brown color are not my favorite. In any case, these apricots are delicious, moist and tangy - just as they ought to The bag is not cheap, but it is considerably larger than has ever been offered in shops, so I believe it to be a rare item. The next time I buy, I will definitely do it There was one minor issue with the bag itself. The ziploc didn't close properly after you cut the top off.
The apricot halves that I ate growing up were slightly tart and flavorful. The Turkish variety that is everywhere has a very sweet flavor to it that I am not a fan of. There are several others products on Sincerely Nuts' website that I would like to check out. Dear Nuts, Thanks for being so kind.
In my memory, I have eaten California apricots for quite some time. Usually California apricots are tart, but these are not even tasting like apricots even though they have a slight tart flavor. It's true that there is a store in Massachusetts that sells the best California apricots I've ever tasted. It is Fatachi's. You cannot go wrong with their dried California apricots (and their pineapple rings). You can find tart CA apricots online at Fastachi if you are looking for an apricot with lots of flavor.
There is only one way to go California. I love how much more flavor they have! In the past, I bought the Sunmaid ones in the grocery stores, but I don't see them anymore. Because they are pretty expensive and almost always dried out, this is just as well since you generally have to pay a lot for the bag you get. My wife and I have bought these a few times and they are always delicious and moist. As an added bonus, I use them to make a secret family cookie recipe, so I can't tell you what it is!.
There is a taste of chemical in them. There is a chemical taste to them that makes me concern that they are not healthy to consume. Not only are they expensive, but they also come with a lot of baggage. It's a shame that we cannot contact the seller for a This is the second batch I have ordered and they were just fine. I probably won't bother repeating this since another batch like this will just be a waste of money.
