As I said above, I was extremely impressed with these apricots and felt compelled to write about them right away. In my opinion this needs to be said because as a consumer it is frustrating to read misleading reviews on this site when we intend to get honest information about a product before we spend our hard earned money! I must admit that even though most of the reviews for the product were positive, there were some which were not, and I was a bit sceptical about ordering them. My apricots were purchased from this seller and fulfilled by Amazon Prime. I was pleased with the quality, and they are just what I wanted. Quite large and plump, they have a good flavor and texture. There are more than 50 cent worth of apricots, and the majority of them are big and beautiful golden orange, just like in the For scale, I have included a picture I took on my phone to demonstrate the apricots I received along with the quarter I used. Take a look somewhere else. There are probably only two pieces of good quality in fifty. As a matter of fact, I have been eating dried apricots and other fruit for quite some time. According to the batch I received, these should not be sold. The majority of the apricots tasted good to me, but maybe 5%. These remaining dried fruits were pale in color and bland in taste, and it was impossible to tell if they were RIPE or not. I did note a distinct difference in the color, texture and taste of these unripe fruits that appeared to have fallen off the tree before they were ready to eat. In the past, I used to think that 5% of the fruit would be bad. There were nearly all bad, bland apricots in this pack. Apricots can never be as good as these, as everyone who says so must not have had good apricots previously. Apricots should be soft, sweet, and dark orange (if they are preservative-treated) otherwise, they will taste bland if they are a little brown. The apricots they sell are tough, pale yellow. A wonderful combination of hard and chewy. Apricots that are the best I have ever tasted are these dried apricots. Having no added sugar, I assume it is all natural fructose? They do contain a shocking amount of sugar, as they are inherently sweet. There is some stomach growling when you eat too many of these you might have a rush of a bowel movement (or several) - eat with caution and don't eat too many at the same time. They're actually really that good, despite how hard it may be to do.

This is what I got today and the reviews I received from other people, well I'm not sure of the reasons It's always a challenge to find a superior dried apricot product, and I think this one competes with Sunkist or Mariani easily. There are a few differences but they are sweet, and I think they're a little dryer than Mariani's ultimate apricots. Honestly, I think Stew Leonard's Turkish apricots are the best, but you can use these if you don't have access to a Stew Leonard's store. Despite the fact that the apricots were tasty, there was one negative comment unrelated to the fruit the self sealing tape peeled off easily, completely covering one side of the bag, and thus making it impossible to close it effectively and seal in It is important that the bag be improved.

This is my fourth purchase of dried apricots from the site and they are the best apricots I've ever eaten. My experience with them has always been good, with not too much drying, good texture, great flavor, and a fair price. On the nutrition label, it says a serving size is 5 apricots, consisting of Due to their size, it is common for me to eat only two at a time. I'd only buy the type without added sugar if it wasn't for the added sugar. In order to keep the apricots fresh, a preservative known as Sulphur Dioxide is added to them. In the past year, I tried a different brand of laundry detergent that was preservative-free for the first time. My preference will be the preserved ones since they were terrible. I do not feel the need to try any other products, since they are so moist and fresh, and are so affordable as long as they stay like that.
