Can you resolve the problem with the dented cans yet? I would like to buy but am not interested in the entirety of the dented cans. ?

There were no dented cans in my possession

Can you tell me how far out the expiration date is?

They expire in August 2020, which I purchased in January of this year.

What is the content of BPA in the cans?

The cans did not appear to have any plastic in them, and since they are listed as kosher items I would presume that they do not According to my online research, I couldn't find conclusive information about BPA in this product, so if you're still concerned, I'd recommend contacting the manufacturer for more information.

We are disappointed with this result
3/5

The situation is extremely distressing for me! Just 2 of the cans were not dented (and I mean seriously dented). I do not buy damaged cans when I do my grocery shopping and do not want dented ones delivered to my house. Due to the fact that I am trashing the dented products, I think I should be reimbursed for part of this order. I am saddened by this.

Several cans have been dented

It's all right. I will not be reviewing the beans in this review. Beans are one of my favorite foods. For the first time, I attempted to buy food on Amazon because I couldn't find it locally. There is no false information in the reviews! A total of seven out of twelve cans had dents with three of them being deemed questionable for their As long as they don't prove to me that my family will not be poisoned, I won't buy food from Amazon. I love Amazon in every other respect!.

There's a big price difference between these and the Goya butter beans I buy at my local supermarket, but they don't come close to the Goya varieties in terms of When I opened the can, I noticed the beans weren't all the way to the top. I would estimate that they were about 3/4" below the surface. Liquid that has thickened is the remainder. After being drained, the beans weighed less than 8 ounces, and about 10% of them were crushed and It's hard to tell the difference between goya beans and these beans they are much softer, and lack a rich buttery flavor. If I run out of these beans, I will go to a grocery store.

The beans are fantastic

We ordered a case of Butter Beans and we received them on Saturday. I'm very happy with the product. It arrived in perfect condition and was packaged and shipped nicely. There is an expiration date of Feb 2022 on top, so you choose a good time! This product does not have a pull top, so it must be opened with a The last Butter Beans I had were in March, which was a months-long cover up for Locally, I have been unable to obtain any. I opened one can on Sunday to go with Cheese Burgers & chips There are no mashed potatoes in this recipe. Drain half the broth off, beans were down about an inch, nice and whole, not mashed and broken. A couple of them were squished on the bottom of the bottle, which is less than normal. A large lump of butter and some salt were put in It was great! Fresh cracked black pepper, it was awesome! The Joan of Arc brand we like best, we've tried others but they were overcooked and mashed in the cans, they had a texture that was half way between refried beans and mash. The butter beans they sell are too hard, or not cooked enough. Some even have small green lima beans in the cans, that isn't butter beans. Butter Beans are large Fordhook Lima Beans that were not picked in time for use as regular Lima Beans after they were planted. For about another week, they let them stay in the field, then pick them, dry them, then cook them in water & smoke them When you process them, can them, or cook them further, they become more salty. One of my grandmothers grew her own Butter Beans in Having the Fourth around the corner, I'm planning on taking 3 or 4 cans, draining the broth, and putting them in a casserole, then brown half a pound of bacon, saute some onion and combine everything. Served hot with your favorite BBQ sauce, green pepper, and bake in the oven, don't cook until it's dry. The perfect picnic treat! A brief update It just arrived that I got my 2 extra cases I ordered on Monday. They arrived today Tuesday in a nice package. You won't find any beat up or dented cases here. Thanks! I have experience. We thank Amazon Workers for their hard work! Thanks for all you do! Tilt of the hat to you!.

This is an affordable and convenient option
5/5

In order to compare the various prices of different brands of canned butter beans, I have tried several different brands. Making some myself from dried large limes is also something I have done. Since I made my own chicken stock, they were the best I have ever eaten. My favorite way to eat butter beans is cold, with olive oil, vinegar, and blue cheese. I include other items into the salad that I then can. In order to ensure that they won't be mushy, I want them to be cooked, but not overcooked. It should still appear to be a single bean. Next, I want the interior of the bean to be smooth and creamy, as well as the skin to have a distinct look, but It is truly quite time-consuming to do everything on my own, so I find it appealing to have someone open the can for me. It is not uncommon for butter bean cans to have some mushy paste at their bottom. Some are much more expensive (I think of Goya). A lot of them contain additives that keep the color or prevent the breakdown of the glass. That is unfortunate, but it is easier to just open a can when it is convenient. Although these Joan of Arc beans were the cheapest, they were the best in terms of integrity of the There are none as good as those I prepare myself from dry beans, especially when it comes to the creamy interior.

I like the beans of Amazon but dislike the traditional dents in the cans
4/5

A dented can is what I pulled out of the first can- It would be better if there was more bubble wrap and not just 4 stars for overall Nevertheless, both the beans and taste of the dish were very good. If you are not sure what to do with them, here are some suggestions Olive oil and garlic are fried together, and then beans (I also add shrimp, chiles, capers, lemon juice, canned mushrooms, parsley, and seasonings) are added. Add about a quarter cup of water towards the end, and cook for one more minute on high heat until sauce is formed. Cook on medium heat until beans have picked up some color. An edit review is needed Those criticizing the lack of filling up the can are the only ones Although I would still purchase them because they were good, I would prefer to receive a full can.

I thought they would be blander than they are

15oz of spicy chili beans were purchased in a 12 pack. During shipping, one can came loose from the others, but none of them The products have a significant It was expected that they would be more HEATOUS. Personally, i would call them seasoned chili beans, not spicy chili beans, but this could just be my own misunderstanding of the product. The beans are not labeled as "hot and spicy chili beans", but I expected them to have more chili pepper flavor. Chili or ramen seem to match them well, but each dish will still need to be spiced or heated up a bit for the best results. If you find it sufficiently seasoned for your liking as a side dish (I did not), then it is a good value per can, but if you are planning to mix it into dishes as a filler, then it is more economical.

With almost all cans, there is a dent
3/5

It worked just like it said. The cans were dented in 11 of 12 cases. I doubt they just threw a bunch of dented ones from production together for internet sales based on the sequence of production numbers on the bottom of the can. And yet, how is it possible that everybody.
