The 26 oz. bottle of wine is a great way to start your day. It's chicken "stock," not broth, in the size with the screw top. I purchase 32 oz. of broth. I would imagine that the inside of the containers, under either lid, would be similar, with plastic tabs to lift open and a thin foil liner that is supposed to lift up but always has to be cut away with the tip of a paring knife
beef
In the refrigerator, an open box should last a week, unless you're reheating it, in which case it'll last even less time.

I purchased a 12-pack of Swanson chicken broth, which I understand to be a liquid. A screwdriver is included in each package. off cap, and three of the packages had the cap pushed in far enough that the package leaked. . . resulting in a nice puddle inside the box. It appears that shipping liquids in this manner is not a good idea. And cleaning is a pain-in-the-neck. and return it to you.
I really like it - I first purchased their'sipping' cups for ease of use when I only needed a small amount of stock, but their packaging was a real pain to deal with. To remove the cap, I needed a very heavy-duty utensil, and I had to store the leftovers in a different container. So now I only buy the quart containers (same stuff) that keep for two weeks in the refrigerator after opening and have a resealable lid.
I was hesitant to order because some people said there wasn't enough flavor or that their box was leaking because it was crushed. Mine was packaged well and there were no leaks or open bottles. I will continue to buy and recommend.
Although I am unable to take a photograph, I am able to send a sample. I used half of the three boxes in my Thanksgiving stuffing today without even looking at it, but I couldn't refrigerate it because the box leaked when I turned it on its side, so I ate a huge amount for lunch, and when I went to empty the box, I noticed a lot of black patches coming out in the sink, so I started straining it and kept the black stuff from the strainer. The sight of all the black stuff made me sick, and the rest of the stuffing is now a waste, and I have no idea what it was. It didn't appear to be mold, but rather a thin, gleaming seaweed. I put a lot of food in the stuffing, and now I have to throw the rest away, and I'm not sure what I've eaten or what I should tell my doctor! Thank goodness I didn't have to share the stuffing with my Thanksgiving dinner guests!.
The seal is not broken until you open it, and it has great ingredients and performs similarly to my bone broth for a much lower price. The prongs in the plastic cap are broken when you turn it and open it. Most containers only have a plastic seal, but this one also has a foil seal, which is broken by the cap.
The product consisted of 12 individual units packaged in a shoddy carton that broke during shipping (it didn't help that the seller turned the carton upside down, putting all of the weight on the caps). One end flap was folded down inside the box, and the 12 boxes of soup were then placed in it, which was a flaw in the manufacturer's design. Three units leaked between the seller and my delivery. As a result, while the price is reasonable for 12 - At the same price for nine, I'm not happy!.
The flavor is acceptable, but the odor is revolting. If you use it straight out of the carton, you'll need to cook it with a lot of seasonings and vegetables, or you'll have to hold your nose.
Before putting the cartons in the pantry, inspect them for major damage. I was being extremely careless, especially since I had recently received damaged food from Amazon. However, I'd ordered a different variety of Swanson's from Amazon earlier this year with no issues, so I foolishly assumed that this shipment would be fine as well. A MASSIVE blunder! br>br>When I finally removed the plastic to use the first box tonight, I noticed that one of the corners was slightly crushed and worn-out. The plastic outer ring that surrounds the inner foil pull off tab, as well as the plastic tab itself, appeared to be a little off-kilter. It was off-kilter, as if it hadn't been firmly seated. For some reason, the glue, or whatever substance they used to seal the plastic onto the carton, failed, or perhaps too little was used? I gently pressed down on the carton to see if any air had escaped; it did. This prompted me to take a closer look at the other cartons, and I noticed that some of them were visibly swollen, oozed a little, and gave off a foul odor when gently squeezed. The smell became overwhelming as soon as the lid was opened to pour down the garbage disposal. However, even though the seal was not intact, as evidenced by escaping air, two of the cartons I checked later did not smell noticeably rank when squeezing, so I'm concerned that someone could unwittingly use product with a faulty seal. br>br>If you've ordered this product or plan to order it, PLEASE inspect each carton carefully when it arrives.
