The notion of this shook me to my core. Despite best efforts, I have not been able to make Adobe that taste like his aunts, mothers, or sisters from Quezon City. When I made this, I added a few of my own ingredients and put it in the fridge, hoping they would eat at least some of It was really good! My husband enjoyed it very much! Even though it couldn't be the same as other attempts, it was a lot better than my other attempts.

The only thing I do differently is adding fresh garlic and a bit more vinegar. This does not take much time, but it does make the dish tasty every time!.

You should not waste your money on this fake adobo flavor. The actual ingredients for Filipino adobo are present in this dish, which is very expensive.
Since I sponsor a child in the Philippines, I thought I'd try adobo since I was asked if I had tried it before. It was OK following the directions exactly (I probably wouldn't have made it this way unless I stopped first to taste the 'original'). The situation is not good. Chicken thighs were the ingredients I used- It would have been better if something else had been used.
