La Costena Adobo Sauce, 8.25 Ounce (Pack of 12)

It claims to be adobo sauce, but it is not. adobo paste is what you see here. There was some oil on the bubble wrap and some staining on the surface of the box. It arrived in a stained leaky box that appeared to have spilled oil from the product. Having a jar in the house and not breaking it is surprising. Due to the fact that the jars are sealed by the hand of God, it was hard to open them. Upon opening the jar, I was greeted with an oily, thick grainy paste. I followed the instructions on the jar and added 1 part paste to 4 parts chicken broth/stock, and stirred gently It did not thicken into a sauce, rather it remained thin and It also contains soy lecthin, which I was not aware of until I had eaten it sadly, it's very tasteless and bland. This product only has one advantageous feature, which is that I was able to rinse the pot I used to prepare it fairly easily.
