The old adage "you get what you pay for" is true in some cases. The flavor of this gravy isn't bad, but it's not great, in my opinion. It's a pleasant mix. Although it has a good consistency, the flavor of this gravy is artificial. To be honest, I'm not sure I'll buy these again. The ingredients list contains far too many unpronounceable words for me to consider consuming. I'm not sure what it means when it says "CONTAINS BIOENGINEERED FOOD INGREDIENTS. " But the fact that it's in bold print suggests it's a warning, so I'll stick with Knorr or McCormick.
Not overly salty, simple to prepare (no lumps), and delicious.
It elevates the flavor of any pork dish.
Definitely worth the money.

In my rice cooker, I cook a lot of one-pot meals. I usually get a few days' worth of use out of them. I never follow a recipe; instead, I throw in whatever ingredients I have on hand, but I always include a sauce. Because my rice cooker only cooks 4 cups of rice, splitting a can of soup and saving portions for another time is a little difficult, but these gravy packets work perfectly. I simply toss in some rice, diced cubed pork, frozen vegetables, and a packet of Happy Belly Pork Gravy Mix. I'll have a nice cubed pork and rice dish with gravy when it's done cooking. The gravy adds a nice flavor to the dish, and it smells delicious while it's cooking. I don't make much gravy on its own, despite the fact that I'm sure it's delicious, but using it in this way works out perfectly for me. It's something I'd strongly suggest.

Only about 87 cents per pouch, which is a slight discount over what I was paying in the store. There haven't been any clumps or problems with the gravy blending. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and will purchase again.
