" Many years ago I had a close friend who owned a pizza place that was extremely popular. Several years ago, my daughter and I had a late lunch at this establishment. As there wasn't a lot of traffic, she sat down with us for a quick bite. I told her if she didn't tell me another secret, I was going to get her sauce recipe, so she peeked out into the parking lot and called me in. We're on Papa! The sauce she makes always reminds me of her, so I've bought it for years.

Thick and rich, in my opinion. A really thick and rich sauce of top quality can only be described as top-quality. If you wanted, you could even thin it a little bit. Besides the heat, there is also a little bit of sweetness. A little sweetness would have helped it stand out a bit more, which I think makes a good pizza (or pasta) sauce. There were also not enough herbs, so adding a few basil or oregano leaves In order to get around these issues, you could simply add your favorite seasoning, maybe a little tomato paste, or sugar to add some sweetness, and then you could adjust it to your preferences.

This is the clear winner. self-proclaimed pizza expert, having come from St. Louis and now reside in Chicago, with numerous trips across the country to some of the best places to find pizza, as well as international travel. Having a better understanding of how pizza is made has helped me make it It will be made with Pastorelli's own crust (thin, crispy style) and various A full flavor and a balance of spices are found in this stuff, making it tasty enough to literally 'eat straight out of I mean it. Those who want to make home made pizza with the best sauce are all about Pastorelli's pizza sauces. Try their new crusts by grabbing a can, jar (squeeze), and some of the new flavors, and then create your own recipe, and see what you think. A pizza can be carried by its sauce. There are a number of great pasta sauces by this company, but they are not readily available. My personal favorite online retailer is Amazon. I wish they would expand their distribution. It's all set for me. It is a privilege to continue to serve the best in tomatoes with Rick Pastorelli.

Then I add this or that to spice it up or give it more acid or heat or sugar or whatever strikes my fancy at the time. Although I make my own pizza sauce, it's a real hassle and I can't get it to come out just right (the crust usually gets I had tried other "canned"/bottled sauces from our local supermarket and they were too sweet for my taste. When I tried a "high end" sauce, I found it too acidic. The difficulty of finding a sauce that is a good mix of sweet and acid almost seems insurmountable. The reviews on Amazon suggested this one was pretty good. I kept reading reviews, and it seemed that most folks enjoyed The Internet is the best! I decided to test it out, and BOY, I'm It's the one I will pick. With just a hint of heat and spice, this is the perfect balance of sweet and acid. This is a nice robust tomato flavor that pairs extremely well with my sausage, bell Then add some part-skim mozzarella and that's it, I've got a great The only disadvantage is that don't expect a soggy crust!

If you like a really sweet sauce, you should not use this sauce. In any case, if you're looking for a sauce with a great balance, a bit of heat, and strong tomato flavor-this is an ideal sauce If this appeals to you, then you just might enjoy it.

This delicious food is to die for! This is the kind of clean you lick the can afterward. There is just the right amount of tomato flavor and just the right spices to give my pizzas the flavor I like. One can covers a 14 to 16 inch pizza. Pizza I like doesn't have tons of sauce on it. The next time the case is empty, I will certainly order more.
