She has taught me many things over the years and I have utilized her recipe for over 50 years with rave reviews. I tried a dozen or more store-bought pasta sauces (both marinara and basil) and after a while I found it too complicated to make from scratch so I turned to Rao's. In contrast to any store bought brand, Rao's made a big difference in my eyesight. In terms of pasta sauce, Rao's is as close as you can get to the recipe her grandmother used to make. Rao's won me over right then and there. This was delicious and the texture was superb. The praise I am receiving from my friends and family is still huge. You will enjoy it very much if you give it a try. The book is definitely something I would recommend not only to my friends, but even to.
