I have been enjoying it since the late 1980s with my family, but people in those days could only buy it in specialty As I wasn't sure the product and/or quality would be the same as the one I bought from Walmart, I was hesitant to buy it from Amazon, but it was, and with Amazon Prime, the delivery was much faster, and I was able to use it Glass jars must be wrapped in bubble wrap in order to remain intact, as the package came completely secure in bubble wrap. There was still plenty of freshness left in it as it was delivered before it expired. This has been my go-to since I was a kid. You can use it as a glaze on grilled poultry or In addition to making a tasty dip, it also looks good. Add 8 Oz softened cream cheese to 2T rum, a diced apple ( remove the skin) and 1 cup sugar I usually have at least 3 Tos of Dr Pete's (or more, depending on what I'm feeling). It can be spread on water crackers, plantain chips, etc.
