My head is spinning! The bottle I had wasn't enough and now I have to go back to the store to get another one. The only one is in the 12 pack, so why say 12?.
Although significantly more expensive that the regular grocery store brand, it is worth the price. My comparison of this bottle of superior sauce to a bottle of oyster sauce I had purchased from the local supermarket was after I got it from Amazon. I am amazed! That is a huge There was no taste to the regular sauce, so it only tasted like salt. Compared to other Lee Kum Kees, the premium brand had even more I will be able to make my Chinese dishes even better with this. The cost difference between oyster sauce and regular sauce is negligible since oyster sauce is used in so few recipes. You should opt for a premium product.

My orders always arrive in an 18 oz size instead of an 8 oz. I checked previous orders and it said they were 8 oz, but I never received an 8 oz. time, I received the small bottle that I'd apparently ordered previously, and I was disappointed with the size. Now I've ordered the larger size for this product, which I like because it's easy to use. I was not experiencing this problem with another product I had been using.
One of the few Lee Kim Kee oyster sauces to list oyster extract as the first ingredient is the gold label oyster sauce. Due to the fact that it is made in the USA, I feel it is safer and meets food safety standards here rather than products made in China. I have to order gold labels online now because my local source has stopped selling gold labels.
