Use a strainer with very small holes since it is so small.
The store has previously sold it to me! I was very disappointed in the packaging. 5 cartons are strong enough to put on a shelf in a store, but they need good padding when traveling cross-country. In one of the boxes there was a hole that had been torn open upon arrival, and the pasta was left in the plastic bag that was contained within the five boxes. I'm thankful it wasn't in the Amazon box or the pasta would have been damaged. What a mess! It took me a long time to clean it up. As a result of this experience, I am continuing to search for local distributors!.
With this, I made a double batch of wedding soup and it turned out great. There was a bit more pasta than the recipe called for, so you might want to reduce the amount until you see how 'thick' it gets with the pasta. One box was shipped in a bag that was resealed by the shipper, and a few ounces were in the bag but not in It appeared to me to be cautiously concerned during the CoVid period.

You may enjoy soup with pastina if you love it This soup is great to keep in your pantry, just like the classic wedding soup. We are bound to have leftovers in the pantry due to the order minimum of 5 pounds. There aren't many pastinas this size that I really like. My favorite thing about this brand is that it is produced in Italy, so the likelihood of Monsanto wheat in it is slim to none. Imports of wheat from the United States are not allowed in Italy. It's thin, but not too thin, so it stands up to broth without becoming soggy. I like the shape since it is thick despite being very small. Another reason is that this is the kind of pastina my grandma made when she made Stracciatella for us.
Cabatappi and cappelli (angel hair) are two of my favorite pasta shapes, and De Cecco's cappelli is my favorite because it is thin and tastes better. Other brands of cappelli are not as thin as De Cecco's. If they were sold as spaghetti, they would probably have been The Argentinean gets it right in De Cecco.
