With regards to specifics, I cannot assist you. As far as I'm concerned, I was satisfied with the product when it was delivered to me. It's been awhile since I ordered, but I have two packages waiting on my shelf. I ordered more than I can use for quite a while. My favorite thing about having it there is that I can use it anytime. This recipe is specifically for Italian Wedding Soups. The product that I usually buy on Amazon because I cannot find it in my local supermarket is a repeat purchase for me.
As well, I was confused as I thought I was buying 5lbs, so it's actually four separate 5 pounds A total of 20 lbs is weighted by four bags of 5lbs each! I know it's a lot of pasta, but I'm Italian, so I need it!

De Cecco pasta has never let me down
I never buy domestic pasta due to the pesticides and RoundUp used to grow the wheat here. They do not use these chemicals to make pasta It's not unreasonable to think that there are cheaper pastas from Italy that are ALSO very good, like Anna and Ferrera. However, De Cecco is favorite is Di Villa, but it is a bit expensive, and I only buy a few types of their pastries. This is what I call the best pasta for the money, De Cecco.
The shape of the baby bowtie is perfect for soups -- The texture is a bit different in the middle as the middle has always been harder than the bows. Although I live in New York, I've never been able to travel well. Despite having so many Italian restaurants, delis, etc. near me, I have to resort to placing my orders from Amazon to obtain this size and shape for my soups. And you can't go wrong with DeCecco.
As far as I can tell, this product works. This is about 1/3 the size of normal bowtie pasta and I was looking for a regular bowtie If you are looking for a product like that, click here! I placed the order but only one of the five packages arrived. We received a replacement 5-inch tablet when Amazon customer service (which is awesome BTW) contacted us Please pack one for us and let us keep the other. It's a pleasure doing business with.
I had been looking for these for a long time, but never found Amazon was the only place I could find them on the web. It's a good price to buy 5 or 6 at a time. Pass the savings along to family and friends who love them as well. Love them. They go well with salads, soups, or just as is. Just add cheese, diced tomato, and whatever else you like. The quick way to cook. The shipping process is also very fast. Reordering them is a common occurrence for me.
As I purchased this, I thought I was going to receive 9 boxes (3 of each kind). Despite the order being placed, each variety was supplied only once. There is an excessive price tag for the product provided.
I'm so happy because I've been expecting this for a long time now!.
The best is yet to come. It wasn't how I expected it to be. Five 1 pound boxes were delivered to me. For $17 per day, you can have delivery the next working day. Is $10 per box really all the rage these days?.
The rough pasta tends to stick more to the tomato sauce. I love it so much!.
