I just opened the box and the first thing I noticed was a small amount of fluid in the box, maybe a few drops. When I went to pick up the well-wrapped jar, I discovered that the plastic packaging and bubble wrap had become completely saturated. The fluid ran out after I cut the wrapping open with scissors. When I opened the jar, I discovered that the lid was loose, and all of the fluid had leaked out, leaving the jar smelling foul. So I went into my Amazon account and tried to return the item, but I received the message "This item is not eligible for return. " " So now I'm at a loss for what to do. " Because the box was undamaged, I was unable to file a claim with UPS. However, I was sent a useless item, which I have already discarded. What options do I have? Could someone please get in touch with me and let me know what I need to do next?.
These are perfect for lox on toast with cream cheese and slivered red onions for breakfast. For years, I've purchased this brand at Walmart, but they now only sell the in-store version. Their own brand is inferior to Mezzetta's in terms of quality. In comparison to Mezzetta, the size of capers at Walmart varies. This is twice the size of what we used to get at the store, but we'll get through it. br>br>Well, I wrote all of that before I opened the jar. It turns out that the size quality in this jar is inferior to that of the Walmart brand, with some capers being so small that picking them up was difficult.
When I opened the box, it had leaked all over the place and the lid's seal had been broken. I had no choice but to toss it in the trash!.
It's nearly impossible to find a large jar of capers in a store. If you like capers and use them, you're constantly reaching into a small jar that's almost empty. Mazzetta is a fantastic brand that is full of flavor. For those who use capers frequently, the availability of a 16 oz jar is a unique feature.
Are you a fan of capers? Without a doubt, I am - These capers have a great flavor and are an absolute winner with the volume of capers I use in tuna and chicken salad, lox and bagels, garlic, thyme, and butter in Cornish hens, chicken or shrimp Veracruz, and so on.
I despise having to buy those tiny caper jars and always running out. Finally, a LARGE jar that will save you from having to run to the store for another tiny jar!.
When it comes to seafood, capers are one of our favorites. In our local stores, they were extremely difficult to come by. These are pricier than others, but they're worth every penny.
They bring out the flavor of fish and other capers because they are salty but savory.
