A jar, unopened, from the batch of powder I bought last December is still in my possession. By the end of June 2019, the license will expire. Therefore, I would say that any products you purchase this year will be valid In the coming weeks, I plan on ordering more. Unlike other places I have bought things from, Amazon sells everything. Almost 1,000 hamentashen are normally baked for Purim this time of year in March to be given to family and friends by a friend, who is an extraordinary baker. My baker friend told me this is the best way to make traditional hamentaschen with this product (when I called) and they referred me to Amazon where I could find it. She also told me it was the Simon Fischer brand name. It's the real thing! I've tried it years ago and it is the best!.
As she and I both use SF Prune Butter, we both love it. It has never been too sweet and has always been steady for more than Simon Fischer's prune butter is the best! I've attempted to make my own, but it doesn't measure up!.

It used to be available at my supermarket, but I can no longer find it there. Recently, I received my second order from it. Got it on line and am delighted with it. In addition to the butter, I ordered the apricot jam. I hope it tastes like the garlic bread I used to eat when I was a child.

I am glad that Amazon still sells it. It is a delicious product. It is tough to find, but it is available on Amazon. I wish it were more affordable but it is a heavy rask so I am not sorry to have purchased it since I wanted a thick, pure lekvar.
