I always have plenty of time; if left unopened, I've had them for a year and they're fine; we may use it up faster than most, but once opened, I've had them for up to six months. I've never had a jar that didn't turn out well.

When Amazon first introduced Prime Pantry, I couldn't understand why anyone would want to use it. It didn't make sense to me because I have four sons in their late teens and early twenties who are just about done with lunch when they begin to get hungry for dinner. "Midnight dinner" is regarded as a complete meal by them. Nutella has rescued me from a wailing man. I can't tell you how many times my child's stomach has growled like a feral dog. On toast, waffles, crepes, or pancakes, with fruit, or by the spoonful straight from the jar. It's even made an appearance in my molé sauce, which I served with some quick enchiladas. Perfecto. Subscribe and Save used to have a set of six jars listed, which was ideal because each boy could hug and dig into his own jar of heaven, with two remaining hidden for emergencies. While pursuing their degrees, two of my guys are now living together a few hundred miles away. Prime Pantry has literally saved my life! Nutella is a staple in almost every Amazon care package I send out! I included a case of Graham Crackers in my most recent order. I haven't tried Amazon Fresh yet, but if they want bananas or strawberries, they'll have to go to the store! Nutella isn't always easy to come by in local markets, and Amazon has it for a lot less money; on average, it's $2 less per jar on Amazon; this time, it was nearly $3 less, so I sent them two jars. Since I was a kid, I've been a Nutella fan. This is NOT the Nutella that I am familiar with and love, and I purchased it on Amazon because it was a good price. For Christmas, I stuffed this into my son's stocking. We had only recently opened it, and it was neither spreadable nor smooth. It was gooey, chunky, and hardening. Gross! It was thrown out right away.
