It's nothing more than dried out leaves of some sort, with no taste, and it just sticks to the teeth. DO NOT BUY THIS! There is zero basil flavor to it it's just dried leaves with no taste. I suggest the following from personal experience If you want organic basil, I would suggest Organic foods are simple and simple.
I came across this product and wanted to give it a try. The flavor is great, I am pleased with it, and I admire the fact that.
It blew me away how the grocery stores didn't keep dried basil in stock * so I went online to find this product, which is excellent in quality, quantity, and price.
As soon as I added organic basil to dishes, I noticed how much flavor was added. I had bought a small jar from a local store just for the purpose of testing the flavor, and soon found that I was using more basil than before. It was disappointing to see that the large jar was made of plastic rather than glass, as opposed to the small jar. My kitchen is full of glass jars and I am happily searching through them for one. The larger size is useful for many people, as I don't want any leeching of the plastic to interfere with the taste. Anyone who cooks even moderately often will benefit from basil, so I believe it is worthwhile for most people to buy the larger size.
The Organic BASIL I ordered was delivered today. A package of organic Oregano was sent to me. There is no reason why I should have I was told that I am not eligible for a refund when I ordered. It's hard to figure out what I can do about this because I keep going in circles. No solutions have been found so far. Probably I should make a nice Greek salad and research what to do with all that dried oregano, and then I should wear my mask and head to the store to buy the Basil I actually require.
It's amazing how good this seasoning is. I like it because it doesn't overpower I like the smell of it.
It was actually a really good specimen of basil. Obviously not exactly as fresh as when it's first made,.
