SAGE LEAF - Simply Organic Sage Leaf Powder (Botanical name: Salvia officinalis) is derived from a Lamiaceae (mint) family member that produces flavorful sage leaves. It's a Mediterranean native that's grown and harvested all over Europe and North America. The herb has been known by various names, including garden sage, meadow sage, and true sage.

Is there a time limit?
It degrades slowly, so I keep only what I expect to use in the next six months and freeze the rest. It appears to last an indefinite amount of time there. However, make certain that the lids are securely fastened. I had some in a plastic flip-top container, and it lost its'kick' after only a few months.

Organic sage of the highest quality! I'm not sure what it is about sage that makes me crave it

I adore the aroma and use it in a variety of recipes. It seems to calm me down (I even wear a fragrance made from sage and bergamot essential oils). Sage has a "heady" effect on me, but it's also relaxing and comforting. Maybe I'm suffering from a deficiency in some way. lol.

Sage, ground, no stick, and stems I found exactly what I needed - Without the use of sticks, sage can be used

Because it is ground, it takes less time in the recipe, which I prefer. I used to spend a lot of time in the regular sage trying to grind up the small tough pieces.
