Unless they recently changed container size, that's a typo in the headline; the one I received is 7 ounces.
Put some in a spice or coffee grinder and grind it up. Grind it until it's nothing but dust. Then pour into a small spice container that has been left empty. You'll use up 12 oz in no time once you start grinding it. Please do not waste your time.
Albania is where the sage hails from. It's made in the United States and packaged there.
This item has a 7 oz. capacity. Thank you for bringing our attention to the mistake. Marshalls Creek Spices is a company that sells spices.

PROs: br>High-quality herbs with a pleasant aroma and flavor. This item is deserving of a 5-star rating. If the containers were of higher quality, I would give it a higher rating.
CONs: br>The containers are made of thin, flimsy plastic and have a strong, unpleasant odor. Underneath the lid, there is no inner seal. I bought four different herbs/spices from Marshalls Creek, and all of them had powder on the outside of the containers because the lids weren't twisted tightly enough, and were only held on by a loose-fitting band. plastic wrap that fits That was a huge letdown. If the lids are properly tightened, the powdered contents cannot escape the container, even if it tips over. The seller, on the other hand, should have a procedure in place to ensure that the lids are secure. Obviously, they don't. br>I'll pour the contents into airtight glass containers. Because the plastic containers in which these herbs are delivered are unusually thin and flimsy, and have a discernible odor, they need to be sealed tightly.
The herb itself is fine and does what I need it to do, which is make my own bullion, but one would expect better/more professional packaging.
It's a good size, and I use a lot of sage because we're eating more chicken these days. This is an excellent product, which I highly recommend.
Tastes and smells great. We use a lot of sage in our cooking, and it's great.
I don't have proof that this stuff is causing the grittiness, but all of my other ingredients are the same, and I didn't have any grittiness when I used supermarket-bought flour. Sage was purchased.
Sage was purchased by him. I can't imagine using anything else because it has such a fresh aroma and flavor.
