Sage can be stored in a variety of ways. Another option is to keep it in a jar, such as a peanut butter jar. The most important thing to remember when storing sage is to keep the container airtight and lightproof.
Yes, there is a high standard of food. Very well done. I didn't see/remember seeing/remembering an expiration date for such a large sum. I'm not one of those people who believes in expiration dates. Even if it's five years old, if it smells like sage and has a pleasant aroma, I'll use it. Keep it refrigerated in an airtight bag.
Not at all, I believe. It would have no effect on making your hair black. However, if you're talking about using it to stain hair, it's a light color with a strong odor that you probably don't want to be smelling all the time. How about currants or black berries?
The best sage and other products are frontier sage and other products, which are excellent in cooking. However, if you burn incense, it makes a great home purifying incense on its own. You can also make a bed of it in a larger incense burner, light it, and then sprinkle small amounts of more exotic materials like frankincense or myrrh on top to make it burn nicely.

Sage, you're a wonderful person. When I was trying to quit smoking, I bought a bag and used it to pack cigarette papers in. Smoking it is relaxing, and it has a wild, sweet aroma. I haven't experienced any negative side effects from using it, but I have discovered that it has a strong aphrodisiac effect, similar to Viagra, so it must be beneficial to blood circulation. It's a very fuzzy species of sage, unlike the silver sage plant, which is coarse when dried, so it packs well with a cigarette machine. I've tried a lot of different kinds of smoked herbs, and this is one of my top three favorites; it's a good bang for your buck, and the company is great to deal with!.
When I ran out of the 2 ounce glass bottles of Sage that I usually buy, I decided to order this large 1 pound bag, which will last me a long time while also being much less expensive than buying multiple 2 ounce glass bottles. I'll use this bag to refill my glass bottle whenever it runs out. br>br>The sage I received was sourced from India, the expiration date was fine, and it was fresh inside; this is my second order from Frontier Co-op. I'd do it again if the opportunity arose. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! br>br>.
There's a difference between dried sage and rubbed sage; rubbed sage is soft and fluffy and has been rubbed. If a recipe calls for rubbed sage, it will work; however, if the recipe calls for dried sage, you will need to double the amount. Even though they are flavorful, I prefer dried flakes that I can rub to release the flavor and oils. It also takes up twice as much space in storage.
My family and I are the only ones who use it. Because I enjoy the flavor and texture, I use more than average in a dish. Because it's soft, you can use a lot more of it at once than you'd think. br>br>Of all the herbs I've bought on Amazon, this one may be my favorite.
Google was my first stop. ing issues such as hair loss and breakage. I tried to figure out hair typing, but LOC/LCO made no difference. I finally found an article about natural tea treatments, so I combined the teas, discovered a great Essential Oil blend that my hair loves (trial and error, I make my own), and I'm back on my hair growth journey. I no longer use conditioner after washing my hair in the shower I leave it in while I cleanse, then I rinse lightly and dilute the remaining spritz by 50% adding%.
To put this large bag of rubbed leaf sage into smaller containers, I first opened it. I wanted to put sage in everything I was cooking when I smelled the potent fresh smell of sage. Excellent aroma, potency, and flavor! You could beat this quality if you picked your own fresh sage, carefully controlled the drying process, and hand rubbed it, but otherwise, this is the best I've found.
Two stars are awarded to this film. One is for scent, and the other is for taste. That is all there is to it. br>br>There are far too many stem pieces and not nearly enough actual sage. br>br>Even though I knew ahead of time that the bag would not be resealable, I still consider this a negative. br>br>In the past, I had purchased the Organic Rubbed Sage from Frontier in a case of 12 - It worked out perfectly. It's soft and fluffy. br>br>This isn't it. br>br>This is a total letdown.
They're fine to use as a reminder if you only wanted to use leaves. br>Wow, there's a lot of basil in this dish! To put it in perspective, this bag will fill more than 5 of the bags on the market.
