The paprikas in this box, as well as its siblings sweet and hot, I've been using for several years, ever since reading a review that discussed the varieties Bitter Sweet is my favorite, but I like one of the others from time to time as well. I was very pleased with the excellent value, the speedy delivery, and the taste of the sandwich. While I have no interest in gourmet foods, I enjoy this product very much.
The spice mixture I make this way has become my favorite! I mix 1 part La Chinata Hot Smoked Paprika, 1 part cayenne, and 2 parts garlic powder, and it works on anything! A hearty smoked flavor with a deep earthy (umami) undertone, with just the right amount of spice! As of yet, it's great on eggs, honey smoked salmon, popcorn, and bacon baked with cherrywood.
As far as this product is concerned, it meets all of the requirements. It adds a great deal of flavor to anything I use it for. You need a knife or other device to pry off the top, but that is the only slight negative.
