The product has a very good flavor, but nowhere does it state that the ingredients are garlic granules that have been toasted. There is no information on the label about the ingredients. Garlic dehydrated organically is listed as only "dehydrated organic My husband disagreed with me on this point, and said it tasted quite salty to him. It is, indeed, toasted. If you are looking for the raw, strong flavor of garlic, this product may not be the right choice for many dishes.

I have purchased other brands of turmeric powder before and since I purchased Here's Organics, and it is by far the best. I am sticking with this brand.
