This was a purchase I made. Nevertheless, an open seal was found on the package. Didn't use it, so I don't know how it works. If this is the case, please tell Amazon as soon as possible. The order did not need to be reordered.
Plastic is used for the container. The ginger I got to use never got used. The package was not sealed when it arrived. (The seal on this book is We are well) and happy. Tossing it, I dumped it on the ground.
Not sure, to be honest. In addition to imported ginger, you can also buy Chinese ginger. Ginger organically grown in Peru is available. Good to hear!

product arrived in an undamaged box, but the safety seal was broken on the bottle, and the ginger smelled terrible, so it was not recommended. If it looks chemical or dead, then it is. The ginger I used wasn't as strong as other gingers. I actually smelled something after one small, light sniff for nearly 40 minutes. Despite the fact that my nose is still burning, it isn't as bad as it was yesterday. There was also about 3/4 inch of space left on the shelf for the product. As I'm writing this, I'm very disappointed because the price was very good, but my ginger is very old, so this is going in a garbage bin.
There was an error code with no explanation when I tried contacting It's Delish via their website.

My package contains something that doesn't taste or smell like ginger. I have no idea what it is. The new Ginger jar I bought came out bland in both recipes that I tried. That led me to suspect this new ginger I had purchased. The store had a small bottle of ginger that I picked up to compare to the white powder, and in a side-by-side test, I was able to determine that the white powder on the opposite side is closer to dirt or dust than I suspect there may be a serious quality control problem with this line, especially after reading some of the other positive reviews and a few 1 star reviews. I am referring to the lot code 10255780 if that is helpful. Unfortunately, the bottle did not have a date code on it. I am very disappointed in the quality of the label.
There was no ginger scent at all, which made this unusable. I needed it for my gingerbread recipe. My realization of how inexpensive the container is would have been if I had realized how large it was. The thing that I should have done from the beginning was order some McCormick ground ginger. There needs to be a ginger smell to gingerbread houses.
It took just one sniff to transport me back to my childhood, when I used to empty the pencil sharpener of its shavings, which, as you can imagine, did not taste very good. tastes delicious, has an amazing scent, and a distinctly distinctive smell, so I am deeply disappointed that this product does not smell and tastes like ginger. Ginger powder that tastes really good and smells extremely pleasant is offered here at a very reasonable price. I don't like the taste at all. Ginger is not even close to what this thing tastes like! There's nothing good about it. You need to keep your coins in your pocket and don't waste them on this awful product. I will be throwing out the whole bottle.
