After reading a number of articles regarding rodent control on the Internet, I decided to buy this product. My next step was to head over to Amazon to seek out the most Cayenne pepper for the lowest price, and the filter landed me on this product. Upon receiving and opening the package, I was amazed at how aromatic it was. The squirrels waste the pepper on me because I love spicy food and decided to put a tiny pinch in some soup before I wasted it on them. There was a very spicy kick to the soup, and it was delicious! I'll go back to the situation with the squirrel. Despite living next to a golf course, we have never been abused by squirrels to such an extent that they eat up our plants and flowers, but over the past 25 years we have had a few squirrels visiting our backyard. Our garden is being eaten away by hungry squirrels. This week, we bought more plants from Home Depot and they were all gone after a week! investment in new plants generated the motivation to give these little fellas some spice to eat, if they venture far across the Cayenne Pepper barrier I sprinkled along my fence line.
So far, I have not noticed them in my yard. I hope this works. Even if I don't, I'll still be able to cook and eat for some time to come with Cayenne Pepper. There is only one thing that I am uncertain of, and that is how to store such a large quantity of this stuff in order to preserve its freshness.
A friend gave me this cayenne pepper to sprinkle around my potted plants in the yard to deter squirrels from digging them up and chewing on them. They started out digging through it, but now they're digging right through it again! The color is orange rather than the darker dark red or brown that cayenne can occasionally be, which suggests freshness to me, but I'm not sure. " Anyhow, I tasted it to make sure it was strong and of good quality, and the flavor and heat level are both outstanding! It will eventually be used up as I cook, but I'll try using it up with squirrels too! Regardless of what we do, this winter and fall will be filled with tasty spicy soups!.
I add cayenne to butternut squash soup or pumpkin soup to add a bit of spice to it. I also blend it into spice blends for Indian and Ethiopian dishes. In addition to heat, this cayenne pepper bag had other qualities as well. I liked its flavor very much, it was almost fruity like pepper should be. My favorite part of the book was the ending.
This is the product page copy This product includes a 5 lb resealable bag "about the product"
I must now transfer the 5 lbs of HOT CAYENNE POWDER to another container since it cannot be resealed. Hopefully a good time will be had.
On my lawn are squirrels and dogs whose owners don't know how to take care of them. There has been some talk about the effectiveness of cayenne pepper as a negative reinforcement training tool.
I bought it in bulk so I could pour it in the holes he was digging. Recommend it by a score of 10/10.
The rabbits won't be able to enter our garden using this.
The first order I received was damaged, I sent it back to the vendor, and the replacement was delivered very quickly.
