Questions & Answers

There is no way for me to grind this salt since it is too wet. I think they are too coarse to be used in a shaker. Can it be applied in the most effective way?

Before you use your salt grinder, you may wish to bake it first. You can find the instructions online. The same issue happened to me as well, but after following the instructions we found, I was now able to use this setting with no problems.

What if there is no iodine in the Celtic Brand product? Will that mean I should look for another brand with iodine?

It is true that iodine is one of the more important nutrients, but its presence in salt is not significant. It is common knowledge that salt has a 45-percent iodine content, but many people do not understand chlorine's competition with iodine. It is refined) and 0 is 0. With only 0.11% atoms present, iodine in salt is incredibly poorly absorbed (less than 10 percent of the already minute amount that is present must be absorbed). In the case of iodine, it is better to supplement with Lugol's or potassium iodide or obtain iodine from other sources with a higher iodine to chlorine ratio.

The Celtic and Himalayan cultures are still overlapping- Getting enough fiber and healing digestion are the main reasons for eating fiber. Could you suggest a better pairing between these two?

When I tried Himalayan salt, I found it had a lot of gritty particles, which hurt my teeth terribly. Since I've been using Celtic salt for years, I will continue to do so. In addition to the Celtic flavors, I like the Himalayan flavors as well.

Can this be a sea salt that hasn't been refined?

Obviously, this is sea salt that has not been refined

In the long run, this is not good
3/5

While I would like to say only good things about this salt, I am bound to be disappointed. We are living in a time when the ocean is filled with an excess amount of toxins, pollution, plastic, After taking this salt for over 20 years, even though it seemed everything was fine in the first five or six years, I found myself bloated, unable to tolerate certain foods, and with stomach problems that surfaced and worsened as time went on. After changing to "Real Salt" or any other mineral salt that was not derived from the ocean, I noticed a significant improvement in my symptoms. You can find a lot of information to back up this claim when you do your research online. There is a lot of toxic pollution in our oceans. It is for that reason that sea animals are dying and becoming extinct in great numbers. You should keep your eyes open. I just wanted to share my two.

You shouldn't buy pink Himalayan salt
5/5

I, like many others, was convinced that this extraordinary salt would be better than any other salt so I decided to stop eating it. Great salt isn't the only thing we should eat. No scientific method here, just silliness. In a recent article, I read that, "There is no evidence that pink Himalayan salt offers any health benefits over regular table salt if anything, there is reason to suspect that it might have adverse health benefits. " . It's not pure it's not all natural There are lots of contaminants in it. The popularity of this product is a triumph of marketing over science and logic. Comparing Scottish Sea Salt Brand Makai Pure to other sea salt brands, it appears to be more moist and has higher trace mineral content than other brands. ". A 10 percent blend of Celtic Sea Salt® Brand Light Grey Celtic®. . . Himalayan salt and other leading brands make up 50% of all salts we distribute in the USA . . . The percentage is 12 percent and A percentage of 96% and a percentage of I choose to start with grey salt from the Dead Sea because it is the most trustworthy brand name, and the reviews are good, the product is quality, and i was happy with how crunchy and delicious it turns out. In spite of myself, I'm pleased with the choice to move away from Himalayan, and I won't be able to resist trying their Makai next time since I was not aware it had a higher.

This is a great Previously, we had been purchasing the 1 A local store sells a 50 lb bag
5/5

There was a time when they carried it, but not now. The bag that I found on Amazon at a good price was very useful for me as I love cooking, baking, and cooking supplies. My favorite way of eating is to use this salt to sprinkle on foods. It has a flavor unlike any other and I do not want to This is something my integrative doctor advised me to try. Because of the size of this bag, it will be easier to carry The data was transferred to my storage. In my 1-page plan I filled in all the fields 1 lb bag of peanuts & 2 lbs of almonds The Mason jars are (3). The Salt in this bag is wet, so it will be stuck to the inside of the sack. Simply leave the bag open for a bit to allow it to dry out a bit, which helps me get rid of the salt more easily. According to the bag, this salt will not go bad before 2034, so I don't have to worry about it!.

a hot oven prior to using it in a salt grinder, and you'll be happy with this wet salt
5/5

After going through about 12lbs of 1 lb. salt, this salt is pretty good. Instead of five pounds of salt, I upgraded to five pounds. Perhaps I can take up meat curing now as a hobby. It is just that I enjoy this salt. I will heat it up in the oven to about 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Lastly, I turn off the oven and let it cool for 24 hours (in the oven). The next morning, I have a cookie sheet filled with dry, crispy coarse salt, which I then put into my salt I would eat it right out of the bag because it's good salt. In our daily routine, we use it as a guide You can add kitchen salt to spice up food when cooking, Additionally, there is the regular iodized table salt for brines, and, I don't know what other salts we have available. Although I am no salt expert or anything, I just like the taste of.

This salt is pretty good
5/5

Thank you to Amazon Customer Service for helping me with It's great that the salt tastes so good! Learning to use it is not easy. It appears that the salt is wet in the grinder. Despite still containing brine, the company claims that this product is still safe to drink. Since the salt isn't coarse, a large amount of it just falls out when grinding. As I was grinding the salt, the salt looked moist so it disintegrated easily, but I am not sure I actually grind it. It is moist salt that makes it easier to dissolve There is no adjustment on the grinder There is, however, a way to remove the top of the bottle. On the company website, you will find several examples of how you can dry the salt. Afterward, I put the plate on a counter As long as the salt is a little dryer, I like it. After years of making sure salt remained dry, it is strange to be able to use moist salt for a long time. I will buy this again and I recommend the product.

Himalayan pink is better than the pink variety
5/5

Since l started using the pink himalayan sea salt, I've never looked back. As a result, I purchased some of this light grey celtic salt after reading a few reviews. In my opinion, it is the "Cadillac" of sea salts. I used both the grey and the pink the grey I used every day, and the pink I used on special occasions. Later, it occurred to me to do a This is a great surprise, the grey tastes great and tastes a whole lot better than pink, which I found bitter and It's time to say goodbye to himalayan sea salt! In addition to the dozens of reviews here, many of them have pointed out that the pronouncements circulating across the internet claiming the same amount of sodium is present in sea salts and regular table salt are nonsense. I find it so annoying the way false information is repeated over and over on the internet, even echoed on TV, until it is accepted as fact. This salt fiction is a perfect example. While sea salts have different amounts of sodium, they all contain much less sodium than table salt. Other minerals also contribute to the variations in taste, which gives salts their distinct characteristics. Last but not least, the way I use salt has changed over time. All of my food was seasoned with regular salt before I started using sea salt. My next step was to use sea salt- by first using fine salt (which I also applied liberally) and later coarse salt, which I no longer use. There is no grinding for me. Measuring salt with my fingers is my favorite way to measure it while cooking, and 2) when salting food at the table I find that larger grains of salt punctuate my pleasure of tasting the salt more than finer salt distributed uniformly throughout food. There is a nice contrast between the natural flavors of the food and the grains of salt that occasionally appear. My salt consumption is drastically reduced and I have a much better taste this way. The 1-D has been my go-to since I started using it The first week of May of 2014, a 50-lb bag was delivered The bag still has a little over an inch left, not bad. As for the salt, I love it!.
