I can see no problem with using it on desserts or other food If you are using it as a finishing salt, you want to slightly crumble the flakes and some users may prefer them that way. Usually, salt is crumbled in your fingers as you season or finish.
As the product comes in a pouch, I transferred it to a small glass Ball jar to prevent it from getting stale A clean environment. Salt has never tasted so good.

I received it in a foil pouch enclosed in The jar was not included as shown in the reviews, so that was disappointing. It would have been better if they were packaged in a box. They are tasty and crunchy, however. They were crumbly, not hard. I don't know if they got even more crumbled or broken by being shipped flat. Due to the fact that I have to buy a nice jar or container to store these things, I took 2 points off my total.
We've been trying to find large crystallized sea salt for a long time. Unfortunately, no one has ever come up with a product of this quality. You can't stop eating it because it tastes so good and it melts in one's mouth. In addition to the orders we already have committed to, we have also made several others.
What an amazing piece of work! With a good sprinkle, I like to top roasted potatoes, tomato salads, pasta and even rice. Crunch adds a bit of texture and flavor to foods, bringing that pop of salty goodness against the food.
