It is a horrible new recipe. My father and I have been using this product for 30+ years, and it used to be great. After purchasing some at the end of November 2020, I noticed they are still listing the same ingredients, but the quantity of them has changed. There are new ingredients in the recipe but it's the same. This product used to have a black pepper flavor with hints of various Red Peppers or Chili Peppers with a hint of black pepper are now the dominant flavor of this dish. A significant difference can be detected in terms of smell and taste. If you want to spice up your food, you might as well sprinkle some McCormick Chili Seasoning on it. Additionally, the original recipe bottle is taller and slenderer than what we have in our new design.
As I get older, I enjoy the bite my dishes have as they become more complex, but I did not learn this until the 70's. A combination of age, diabetes, and air pollution has dulled my sense of taste There is a loss of teeth.
I would prefer to use regular pepper instead.
It was always available at grocery stores to me, but then suddenly I couldn't get it. There seems to be only one supplier now, which is Amazon. There is no doubt that the Amazon price is higher than what I used to pay, but not by much. The fact that I could purchase just one jar instead of two was appealing to me because I don't buy this product often A 3-or 4-way system It's all there.
The bottle is now red. I haven't tried it yet, so I don't know what the flavor is like.
It's the first time I've used this seasoning I like it a lot.
To be used instead of pepper all the time.
