This is what I used to make beef stew the first time. To make my stew, I always use the same amount of liquid as before. Adding a little hot flavor that is just there but not too strong is what I like. When I was young, being able to eat hot meals was a no-brainer for me, but nowadays I prefer mild flavors and mild heat. I was surprised to realize that my stew became much hotter than I anticipated. I love the taste of this food. Since I have used subpar crushed red pepper for all these years, I am feeling cheated. It has a beautiful Combined with onions, garlic, and Hungarian paprika, it adds a savory, peppery flavor to foods. Several foods are derived from this base. As of now, this is the brand that I will use. Freshness is what I believe this product to be.
Although the quality, taste, and price are all good, I have inadvertently wasted some crushed pepper quite a few Two openings can be seen at the top. The one with a wide opening holds a lot of pepper while the other has small holes that allow it to be shaken into Aside from the shaker holes, the cover does not show which side has them. My answer was to cover food from time to time with pepper, which wasted the pepper and ruined The pepper bottle I found finally came in a new bottle. If I could see which side of the top had the small shaker holes, I would be more inclined to pick that side.
It would have been nice to have a larger size or a wholesale bag of crushed red peppers. Then it might be a better idea to buy pure Korean red pepper powder instead (which packs more capsicum-- You can find gochugaru powder at Asian markets). Nonetheless, it's a fine flavoring to use for pasta, fish, and meat.
Unfortunately, they have a really bad selection and have a low inventory lately. This is a great replacement for them. Although they are more expensive, I'm willing to pay a little more to get a better product or better tasting one. I have used them in a variety of recipes and they have all tasted great.
The flavor was good, and there was plenty of time before the expiration date. It could be better considering the size versus the cost, but being in the middle of the Rona stuff, everything is darn.
I would have to open hundreds of packets so she could put it in a container on her pizza so she could eat it after her meal. I wasted hours of time. She got all these bags free from the Pizza place. I would never consider taking her back! The label was ripped off of one of these containers, and I could not be happier. It was so cheap and so simple.
Yesterday I had it with pizza, and I am quite pleased with its quality.
This is a good deal and perfect for Pandemic since we don't want to leave the house for shopping during the disease.
