It needs to be split into at least three separate Two different sellers have offered this product to me (Pantry Essentials and Octopus's Garden), and both of those sellers delivered the Mexican version of this product, with "Maggi Jugo" on the label, the first ingredient being soy. It lists "Maggi Seasoning", a product that has no soy in its ingredient list. Unlike this one, it does not contain gluten ingredients (interesting for people with gluten sensitivity), but it contains soy that I cannot consume. In the Mexican version, only two ingredients are listed A protein made from hydrolyzed soy and caramel colour. The different versions (German, Chinese, Mexican, and any others I am not aware of) (made on the same equipment as wheat and milk. ii) are obviously made from fundamentally ***Amazon has been notified and they have indicated they are going to edit the item listing to break it up and correct it, but who knows if they will actually accept that.
It is not labeled "Maggi Seasoning" as it appears in the photo but "Maggi Jugo". Apparently, it has to do with where the countries are originating from. While "Maggi Seasoning" is designed to be made in China, "Maggi Jugo" is designed to be It is far saltier than the one marked "Maggi Seasoning" (if that can be imagined). There is a much higher salt content and a different taste to it. It appears that Amazon views the two as interchangeable. I will have to keep looking for the one I like. However, this is not the case.
Was trying to get the same flavor, but it did not match the original. Despite the fact that I like it, my husband hates.
The product I am using is great! When I season my fish fillets, I use this before cutting them into large pieces before baking them. I don't think I need any other kind of seasoning. A highly flavorful soy sauce that is similar to soy sauce, but with a much more pronounced It is less tangy, but more umami-rich. Maggi is a food I would not normally eat, but I will thank Chrissy Teigen for introducing me.
It is fantastic for Chinese and Oriental dishes, gravy, pasta, meat, salad, etc.
