This chili had been receiving rave reviews, so I was looking forward to trying it, but I was left This product was used as recommended but I found the flavor to be so mild as to be almost inexistent. Aside from the lack of heat, it was very bland. Even though this might qualify as good chili in New York, you will be laughed at if you bring this to Texas. Your mouth should be ablaze with flavor when you eat chili. A warm beverage on a cold day should help to keep you warm. I might potentially double or triple the amount of cayenne pepper and double or triple the amount of the chili mix. I still have quite a bit left over from last time, so I might try that next time. Having grown up as a Christian, I am now a believer. In fact, I bought it because it featured a name I liked and I was constantly on the lookout for good spices. Who knows, maybe one day I will actually like chili, too. I have never had a chili I liked before. I'm glad to say this is the first one I made or even tasted. My taste buds are not melting off my tongue due to this tasty flavored drink with just a little kick at the end. In addition to taco meat, I will test the recipe out. Now that I know how the chili dip tastes, I can't wait to taste it. The cost is a little high, but the amount is not overly large.
