Can you tell me the reason for the expiration date on the container?

However, I did not realize that they had an expiration date, and we used them pretty quickly anyway. It is possible that they were old when we received It didn't matter because they were delicious. There aren't any grocery stores in our area that carry it anymore. There are more I need to order!

Chili sauce is not meant to be consumed fresh out of the can it is an addition to chili

been using this product in my cooking for some time now. I make my chili, add beans, add a few additives then add this product. It makes the best chili this side of Texas. If you add a few of your favorite items, it will be great! My full credit goes to you during a compliment, of course!.

The mix is good, but it isn't worth that much money. I should have read the description better, I thought the mix was for 12 people, not 6. It would not have been in my order.

As this product was discontinued, I guess I can't complain. While I am happy that I found some, I paid an increased price for them, but the chili turned out beautifully.
