There are many things that are awful about them. Marzipan that was the worst I have ever tasted. I'm disappointed because it was a gift to my elderly mother (usually one of her favorites) and she couldn't finish any of the pieces. As you can see in the picture, they are not as nice as they appear in Its shapes are ugly, its bottoms flat, and its consistency is erratic. All of them taste the same, are hard, lack any fruit flavor, and are almost too sweet to handle. The bit would be nice to return, so I can spit it out in.
I buy it every year for her. Whenever I visit my mother, she always asks me to buy her marzipan. Although I like it too, I am not as enamored of it as she is. A little store used to be on E when I was growing up. The Marzipan is freshly made on 86th Street in New York every Thanksgiving, which we used to get on that street. They are no longer around, of course. A family member of my grandmother's Marzipan and ginger cookies from Germany used to be sent to us every Christmas by my lawas. I think this is the closest thing you can get to that. Additionally, there are 18 pieces to choose from I think the price is too good to be true. I highly recommend visiting that little store, because it used to charge a dollar per piece back in the 70s and 80s when the dollar was very expensive. It is an experience you will never regret.
I wouldn't call it good, but I wouldn't call it horrible. It wasn't an issue for them since they obviously weren't identifiable as any particular fruit, despite their colorful appearance. Both flavour and texture were off-putting the texture was overly clayey the taste was strange and unpleasantly sweet. Despite its sweet flavor and absence of almond, this was an overly sweet treat. The best place to introduce German marzipan to those unfamiliar with it is with the marzipan recipes. There is probably going to be disappointment among those who have experienced it. I'm giving it three and a half stars, based on a quality of presentation that has been averaged rather than down.
While I was a child, I would make my own almond paste and give it to my grandmother I am going to give my grandmother a present There is no doubt that this is the best marzipan I have ever eaten. I like how it is soft like a cookie I love the dough and how fresh it is! Every bite I take, I savor it! I hope the next batch is just as good. I am spoiled right now! I appreciate you making it for me. It was delicious.
My product either appeared to be old or of poor quality. There were large pieces of paper that were stuck to the point that they could not be removed absolutely, and in some cases remained attached to the piece almost completely, rendering it virtually uneatable.
The idea of incorporating these into our daughter's birthday party was beyond my comprehension when I picked them up These small treats added a little pop of color to my plates, so I decided to present them this way. The 3-point list has been updated with some additions We added some of the dessert plates that we had on display to the tier plates with the finger sandwiches and jam and scones. They tasted really good and were a lot of fun for my daughter's friends. This is a fun unique accent that makes things stand out a bit.
The 70's were the days when I was a kid, and my grandfather was a farmer I love Oreos! As if that were possible). Her sharing was limited to a sliver at a time and not more than a couple I always thought of marzipan as a great delicacy probably because of this. It was the fruit-shaped ones that were my favorite. I have purchased alpimipan which looked like the same candy previously at Aldi but did not live up to the original. They were just as delicious as I remember (even though I ate much more than one sliver in a sitting). Here is the real deal when it comes to marzipan.
I'd rather not have done that. I found the dish a little dry and very sweet, as others have stated. Due to my experience of eating imported German marzipan, I expected the product to be less sweet and taste more like almonds. This was quite dry, so I'm looking for something a bit less dry. There was no need to worry about it being inedible due to its dryness, but I do admit it was on the dry side. I found the German marzipan to be quite different from what I was As a Marzipan connoisseur, you might not like it, but if you're not, it's likely to be just fine. it arrived on time and the box looked attractive, and it looked like real fruit.
