Greetings, Alex from Rebirth Rice.br>In response to 'Amazon Customer's Answer' (I'm not sure how I missed reading this, but I only discovered it yesterday), br>Oryza is the genus name for all rice varieties in the world (Latin for rice), and sativa is the species name for all rice varieties that originate in Asia. As a result, the term "oryza sativa" refers to "Asian rice." The indica subspecies is responsible for the majority of rice varieties in East and Southeast Asia. As a result, the Oryza Sativa ssp. includes all black rice varieties grown in this part of the world. Is there a way to make this rice in an Instant Pot?

Yes, I do it all the time, with a 1 cup rice to 1 cup water ratio. Extra water is not required because the Instant Pot loses almost no water during pressure cooking. I was skeptical of this ratio (found on the IP guide sheet for brown rice) at first, but it's always perfect.br>br>I usually make 2-cups of brown rice. 3 cups rice per batch, plus the same amount of water *Note: There is a slight difference between dry measuring cups and liquid measuring cups. Although it may not seem to make a difference, I use a dry cup for rice and a liquid cup for water. br>br>I cook it for 22 minutes on high pressure, then let it naturally release. The texture is extremely chewy, but it's not unpleasant. cooked. Try +/- 1-minute increments If you want a different texture, add 3 minutes to the process.

I don't usually write long reviews, but I feel compelled to do so for this rice because I'm an expert on rice, particularly black rice:br>br>Only get rice from Thailand because their rice exports and overall rice production are strictly regulated. I've tried a variety of black rice from a variety of countries, but the ones from Thailand always come out on top, which isn't surprising. Not only black rice, but all rice from Thailand is the best, whether it's black, red, brown, white, sweet, long, short, and so on. br>br>This rice is of higher quality than bestselling competitors' black rice, which is "pretty" but not great in comparison to this rice; it cooks much more efficiently, and each grain is basically the same consistency as others. It's very tasty, without the tough bran layer that other black rices have; the hull is definitely present, so you get the fiber nutrients, but this rice seems to "unlock" more than others, especially in a standard rice cooker. I'm guessing this will result in better nutrient absorption because nutrients are more difficult to absorb in unhulled rice due to the harder bran layers. br>br>Very high quality rice that EXCEEDS the WHITE VINEGAR TEST to test black rice quality and anthocyanin antioxidant content: In comparison to the barely noticeable color from other rice companies, this rice turned white vinegar into a very dark red hue. Because there are many coated rice products (anthocyanin coating added to brown rice) and counterfeits on the market, this alone tells me that this is a high-quality, AUTHENTIC black rice. Anthocyanins are present in the initial swirl, which gives it a light pink hue. This is what you want to see in black rice because most other rice hardly changes color or not all grains will disperse color, so consistency and color are the most important things to look for in this test. Test your rice people, because you're buying black rice for the anthocyanin health benefits as well as taste and texture.

This rice is the only rice you should buy

DO NOT buy black rice from the bestsellers brand (____ Foods) because I vinegar tested it and concluded it was either extremely low quality or even fake. Yes, people, there is a lot of fake black rice out there. Most black rice is the most popular in the world when cooked on its own. Rebirth rice / Thai black rice comes from Thailand since the Thai rice is the best thing ever: strict Government regulations for rice es, which is almost ALL Chinese rice. Rebirth/Thai black rice (Thai rice To reap these super healthful benefits, black rice does not have to be consumed every day or even as the only rice consumed. I recommend MIXING this rice with other varieties such as Red, Brown, Wild, and others to save money while still getting the benefits of a mixed rice profile. br>br>Great rice Rebirth! I recommend that you offer a 5lb single vacuum bag (which saves on waste and people prefer 5lbs over 4lbs because it's a nice round) while lowering the price by 15 percent. 20%. This will make Rebirth an instant bestseller, and Thai farmers will benefit even more from increased exposure to this rice variety, which these experts can cultivate so effectively. (Even though I'm "cheap," I admire good causes like these because I eat rice every day when I'm not on my Ketogenic diet, lol).

I followed the directions in the product description, and I must say, this is the best rice I've ever had! I'll never eat white rice again; even brown rice pales in comparison to this rice, which has a slightly sweet nutty flavor. The water/rice ratio of 2 to 1 is ideal; it took about 25 minutes for all of the water to be absorbed. Although it appears to be unlike anything we've ever eaten, the kids gobbled it up. It's quite filling, so half to two-thirds of a cup cooked should suffice. There were plenty of leftovers. Normally, I would not save rice because no one in my family enjoys the texture of reheated rice, but I did, and the next day, I reheated about 3 cups of rice on the stove with about 1/2 cup of chicken stock and 1/8 cup of water because I was afraid it would burn on the bottom. This turned out to be a fantastic way to reheat the rice, and it tasted fantastic. Of course, vegetable stock could be substituted, but it would have been fine with just water; I just wanted to spice things up for day 2. I hope this was useful. I rely heavily on reviews when selecting products, so I try to provide useful ones myself.

There is no such thing as better black rice

To begin with, black rice isn't widely available; it's a little more expensive to produce than white or brown rice, with lower profit margins, so it's not carried by many brands. However, when it comes to nutrition, It's the healthiest rice on the market and is high in micronutrients! br>br>We've purchased and tried every brand available from Amazon, Target, and Whole Foods, and this is the clear winner. The nutrients can be tasted! It's incredible. br>br>To neutralize any potential anti nutrients (aka sprouting), we like to soak rice in water and apple cider vinegar for a few hours before cooking it. It makes it a little sticky and a lot more delicious. In any case, this is the best brand; it's well worth the money and has a low glycemic index.
