This is the very best artificial sweetener. In order to control my diabetes, I eat very little carbs and a lot of fats. On top of everything, I am also a vegetarian, so I can only eat something sweet. I have been using it in coffee and tea for a while now, and it is one of the best sugar substitutes I have found Natural sweeteners don't cost much to me, but some of them are very expensive if you take into account I use that sweetener every day. It's just that some of them aren't as sweet as they should be. In order to achieve the same effect as one Necta Sweet tablets, I needed about 5 packets of natural sweetener from one brand. The price they were charging is just way too much for 5 packets per coffee cup. I am willing to pay a premium for quality items, but at the same time I do not want to feel exploited. This is the best combination of taste and value that I have found so far. The next time I buy it, I'll get.

Brew the tea with 4 of these 1 grain tablets (or 8 of the 1/2 grain) for a 1/2 gallon of the sweetest tea you've ever tasted. Lipton southern sweet tea bags aren't sweet enough to make real sweet tea, but that is fine for me. The amount of water I use per bag is one. the water very nearly to a boil (a boiling temperature will destroy the tea's taste), add the tea tablets while they are still hot, and let it steep for five to ten minutes. Put two qts. of the mixture in a container. Prepare the pitcher by filling it with ice, then pour over the steeped tea. After that, fill it with cold water (if not already full). Having 2000 tablets at such a great price makes them even better.

My previous choice of saccharin was a liquid product which I was not really satisfied with. As the label suggested, it took much more than what should be needed to sweeten, so I decided to try these tiny tablets, and I am extremely pleased! As many saccharin packets as tablets are equal. As opposed to regular sweetener packets, these contain no carbohydrates or carbohydrate fillers. They're thus excellent sweeteners for people on a ketogenic diet and for those on other low-carb diets A diet high in carbohydrates. They're made with a little baking soda instead of dextrose, etc. , and they dissolve rapidly and mix well. Having found my favorite sweetener, I am in love with.

When I bought a generic brand on vacation, it didn't dissolve nearly as well as this one. It is so much more convenient to use tablets instead of packets, and there is less waste, as well.
