It was easy and it tasted amazing. I mashed 5 cups of berries, mixed 6 tablespoons of freezer pectin with 1 1/2 cups of sugar, and then mixed in the crushed berries. After stirring it for three minutes, I placed the contents of the jars in the freezer. There you go! This freezer jam is ready to eat. If you want to freeze it for up to one year, let it sit at room temperature for 30 minutes. If you want to use it within three weeks, keep it in the refrigerator. Wouldn't it be easier if it was? Since the beginning of the year, I have made two triple batches of strawberry freezer jam. My pectin left over for next year turned out perfectly and I still have half a jar left over. These two jars failed to indicate an expiration date when they arrived. There is a date for expiration on a white square on the package What do you mean by some mostly missing letters in one jar?
