The money was well spent! This is the first time I've given a five-star rating to a product. For the longest time, I thought I couldn't give a five star review because nothing is perfect, but then I realized that five stars isn't perfect either. Five stars tells the reader that I adore the product, and this one certainly does. br>I use this cheese for a variety of things, from sprinkling it on steamed broccoli to making my own "Kraft Mac N Cheese" at home (you'll need something with a shaker top). br>I've included a couple of recipes that I think you'll like. Here's a simple "smartfood" popcorn recipe: br>Get some popcorn ready to pop. In a pot on my induction cooktop, I use coconut oil. top. To make the popcorn, first heat some coconut oil in a pot (the heat will burn off the coconut flavor, leaving you with the old-fashioned movie theater popcorn flavor), then add 3 or 4 kernels of popping corn to the pot. The oil will be ready once the kernels pop. Add the remaining kernels to the oil at this point. Cover and shake the pot back and forth on the burner when it starts to pop. When the popping has slowed to a few seconds between pops, it's time to transfer to a larger bowl. br>At this point, season to taste with salt (I like pickling salt because it's similar to movie theater salt but much less expensive). br>Toss in a tablespoon of White Cheddar Cheese Powder. br>br>Next, make something similar to boxed Mac-n-Cheese. br>br> Cheese. It's a hit with the kids! br>I removed the cheese packet from the Mac-N-Cheese box. Cheese was measured and weighed. It turned out to be around 44 grams. Take 44 grams of White Cheddar Cheese Powder and weigh it. Drain the elbows, add some mild butter and the 44 grams of White Cheddar Cheese Powder to the noodles, season to taste, and you're done. Mac- The kids will go crazy for this cheese. br>br>I hope you found this review useful.
I bought this product again because I liked it so much. cheddar cheese powder is all you need. Now I'm out of money and have two pounds of absolute garbage that I have to give away due to the unnecessary added ingredients. You should be ashamed for attempting to save money by producing a substandard product!.
I got to use my own lentil pasta, which added a nice cheesy flavor. The whole thing was devoured by the family! br>br>We're big fans of mac and cheese around here, but I'm not a fan of paying $3 for a box of the good stuff. We can now buy pasta in bulk and make mac and cheese! My recipe calls for 23 cups of cheese powder, 12 cups of milk, and 12 cups of butter. Make your mac and cheese the same way you'd make it from a box. Also, it's not nearly as salty as the store-bought stuff. It turned out to be wonderful.
This was purchased with the intention of using it to make popcorn. We frequently make our own stovetop popcorn and have primarily used Kernel Seasons white cheddar popcorn seasoning. As a savvy shopper, I realized that buying white cheddar in bulk would save me a significant amount of money. br>br>Ease of Use: br>br>Ease of Installation: br>br>Ease br>It's more of a powder than flour, but it's lighter. It's a little more difficult to spoon or spread over anything without it falling into little clumps as a result of this. Popcorn seasonings are finer granular than regular seasonings, making them easier to spread. I tried refilling the Kernel Seasons container with this product, but it wouldn't shake out through the holes in the cap, which are actually quite large. Just keep in mind that this is the consistency, regardless of your application. br>br>Flavor: br>br>Aroma: br>br>Aroma: br>The taste is absolutely delicious. It's a fantastic piece of writing. Again, since this is more of a popcorn review, spoon a little over a bag's worth of popcorn, shake it around to coat it evenly, and it will clump a little. Surprisingly, even though it's a little clumpy, once shaken, it seems to coat everything nicely. br>br>I think you should get it.
I bought this to replace the one that was currently out of stock. Cabot Cheddar Shake is available for purchase. It's tasty, but not quite as tasty as Cheddar Shake. Cheddar Shake will not be discontinued indefinitely, according to Cabot, IF they can find a new manufacturing partner. (Yes, we are so enamored with it that I inquired about its status with the company! )br>br>However, for the time being, this is a good option, and the 2 pound size is a great deal.
This is what I use it for most of the time. Spray Pam on everything, then sprinkle, sprinkle, sprinkle, sprinkle. You only need a small amount of spray to adhere the cheese powder. br>Once you've mastered the technique, your popcorn will taste identical to Smartfood. br>It has a delicious flavor. br>Purchase a bag of Smartfood popcorn to find out how it tastes. yum yum yum yum yum yum yum y.
This was great in the first jar I bought! It has a lovely flavor, but it's a little too mild for me (I'd prefer it to be a little more sharp). In this house, we're addicted to white cheddar cheese popcorn, so I figured making our own would be a more cost-effective option. When you combine the popcorn, good olive oil, and this cheese, it's not. Anyway, the taste of the second jar I purchased was different; it wasn't bad, but it wasn't as good as the first. However, I would still purchase it.
I bought this to replace King's Flour Vermont White Cheddar Powder, which was more expensive. The product did not meet our expectations- The taste is fine, but the whey content is too high: This product's cheese is off, resulting in a very congealed, sticky result; popcorn becomes far too sticky, and the product must be pre-seasoned. Before adding it to the macaroni, make sure it's completely dissolved and well mixed. If I ever finish this tub, I'll go back to King's.
