That's why I keep them in the freezer; walnuts don't freeze and stay fresh for a long time.

A 3 pound resealable bag of shelled walnuts is included. The nuts are in good condition, and the pieces are quite large. Many of the nuts in the bag I received are in half-size pieces, unbroken. Because 3 lbs of nuts is a lot of nuts, I separated them into three sealed storage containers. These are unsalted and unprocessed natural products. Snack on them, bake with them, or add them to hot or cold cereals and salads. When you consider that a 1/2 pound bag of walnut pieces at the grocery store costs $6, it's easy to see why. 99 - This product on Amazon is a steal at under 18 pounds for three pounds.

I look after a 76-year-old disabled vet, and one of his primary needs is nutrition. He recently had to give up a variety of raw nuts in the morning, but he could have walnuts, which I had to pick out whole because pieces were difficult to handle. I was ecstatic to see that SUNBEST had a 3 pound bag of raw walnut halves available. This was stated both on the bag itself and in the accompanying description. I ordered these in good faith, only to discover that the bag contains far fewer whole walnuts than any of the other bags I've purchased from various vendors over the years that don't claim to be walnut "halves. " I'm very dissatisfied and frustrated.

This is the second time I've bought something like this. I didn't have much of a choice. My wife told me that if I bought any more, I'd have to eat them all by myself, so I ordered these for the rest of the family instead. They're the freshest, she claims, because they didn't sit in a store's warehouse. The flavor is outstanding as a result of this. I'm sure she won't wait until they're all gone before telling me I need to reorder.

These walnuts have an excellent flavor and are extremely fresh. I'll be ordering more of these in the future. There are a few full halves, but the majority of the pieces are quarters or pieces (not tiny pieces). eighths, perhaps). The eighths are excellent for salads, while the wholes and halves are ideal for snacking. I roasted some and seasoned them with "popcorn" salt that I ground myself. This is fantastic!.

Walnuts are one of my favorite foods, and when I bought this bag in the middle of the year, I was in the mood for some. In September of 2017, I had a small supply left over from a previous grocery store purchase. So, it's October 30th, and I'm finally cracking open the 3 pound bag of walnuts I bought a month ago. They have an unpleasant odor about them. It's stale, and it's completely incorrect. So I looked up the "expiration date," which I had never looked up before, and discovered that these walnuts were "best used by October, 2017. " I'm extremely disappointed. They seemed like a good deal to me, but as the saying goes, "you get what you pay for. " "Three pounds of "expired" (or nearly expired) walnuts in my case.

I've purchased these a few times and will continue to purchase. I eat walnuts almost every day in some form or another, and they're my go-to snack. Trader Joe's walnut halves in one-pound bags are a good example. These are a close second, and they're especially handy to have on hand when I can't get to Trader Joe's or when my TJ's is out of stock. I've also tried the Kirkland brand 3 lb bag available on Amazon, and while it was also tasty and fresh, it was mostly smaller pieces, with fewer halves and larger pieces, and it wasn't in a resealable bag like these. They aren't much more expensive at this price than the $5 TJ's 1 pound bags. 99 cents, which is a much better deal than regular grocery store brands, which can cost twice as much for walnuts with far too many stale/bitter nuts or random hard shell pieces, which I haven't found in these. I'll be ordering these again and again!.

I bought my first bag about 6 months ago, and it was fantastic- Fresh, mostly halves, with a nice appearance similar to the photos in the ad. However, I was extremely disappointed when I purchased a second bag- The nuts had a rancid taste to them, as if they had gone bad, and a large number of them were shriveled and blackish in appearance. They were unfit for baking because they ruined everything they touched. I'm going to avoid these from now on because there are far too many other producers with similarly priced nuts that have the same or better ratings.
