I feel that these taste very bitter, as if they are still in their hulls. A sesame seed that has not been shelled has a darker color. Although there are a lot of positive reviews, I am not sure if they are all accurate. Although sesame seeds aren't a very popular item, there seems to be an absurd amount of reviews for this product. The next time I buy, I won't.

Are those insane prices of sesame seeds that you find in a spice section of a market for that tiny spice container? Do you need to buy 20 jars of Tahini to prepare it? There is no other option but to purchase this package. The seeds were of excellent quality for a good price. I loved my two plants! The package weighs one pound. This is a very good book.

I toasted and ground them for tahini already. The food is absolutely perfect. Stored airtight in the freezer, I should be able to use them for a long time. Very happy with the outcome. As I've never baked with raw potatoes, I would assume that the procedure would be the same if I toasted and baked them.

This is what I use in a power blast for my husband. They blend very smoothly and help to make it thicker. I sometimes add them to my oatmeal in the morning. Adding them to oatmeal gives it a wonderful nutty flavor.

Because I like humus, I bought chickpea flour, sesame seeds, so I could make tahini for the humus, black sesame seeds to make dark tahini for the humus, and they were all on sale.
