This is something I like to add to my homemade granola as well as to my Whenever I use them in bread, I don't toast them until I add them. Even though the seeds are perfectly edible raw, the heat from baking essentially cooks them. Salads and cereal often have them sprinkled on top.

The seeds are supposed to be the problem, but I think they are the cheapest. Trying to soak them results in them forming a slime around them that makes them difficult to handle. The holes in the sprouts are clogged with it. There are a bunch of horrible things about them, and they don't work well.
I bought a new bread maker. I am a new bread maker. You can sprinkle 1/2 cup of these on any bread and it will make it "BAM!" Emeril advises. The results are immediate and five stars.
Nuts and seeds are my favorite foods and this was a good combination of seeds with nuts. As a topping for salads, breads and muffins, they go well on cereal, homemade granola and as a topping for homemade granola. As well as being great to eat alone, they are also delicious in the Egyptian nut, spice, and seed blend known as dukkah.
During a search on Amazon for sprouting seeds, I came across this product and thought that was what it was. So I must have ordered the wrong thing, so if you were looking for sporting seed, this is not it. For shakes and cereal, I have been using them, and they seem to be fine, but they are quite pricey.
