Despite the fact that I have strong hands and have worked with my hands all my life, these bags cannot be opened by hand unless you tear them open and destroy them. A pair of scissors is the only way you can open the seal if you want to use the resealing feature.
For the late afternoon munchies, I keep some of them at my desk at home too. Peanuts and "M&Ms" come together perfectly in this combination It's the perfect combination of M" candies, raisins, and almonds with just the right amount of salt. (Most snack foods are way over salted, but not these. bulk like these and the price is quite affordable. It would kind of be nice to offer full size candy bats for Halloween, if you are making that kind of give.
Despite the fact that these things are tasty, the price is not too high, and you get a lot for your money, be careful with how much you eat. The corn and cayenne in these pass through your system quickly and without being digested, so if you are like me and eat an entire bag of these at a time, you will hate yourself. If you consume too much of this product, you will suffer from Sadly, there are no sugar-free gummy bears to be had, but suffering is still a part of it.
As much as I wanted to love these, they just didn't do it for me. The corn kernels in this one made me curious because I was looking for an alternative to the mix at Disney world. There is a coating of corn nuts on these ones. I hate it. Result now, I have a box of 12 packages of food that I am.
There is a great balance between sweet and salty tastes in this dish. The vitamins and minerals are abundant. I think Planters needs to start selling this product in stores since my family and I enjoy the mix of tropical fruits and nuts in it. At the VA, I had discovered this while a patient, and it was a huge hit there as well. During snack time at the program I attended, it turned out to be one of the most popular snacks. There is a lot of sunshine in this trail mix, and that's why it's highly recommended.
