It does not specify the type of cinnamon used; it simply says cinnamon.
On macadamia nuts, subtract total carbs (7) from fiber (4) and sugar alcohols (2) to get net carbs. You're down to one net carb now. They sell other nuts, so it's possible that the person who wrote the review that said the cinnamon almonds had 2 net carbs. There are only 2 net carbs per serving in this one.

I have a sneaking suspicion that The Granola Bakery employs mystical fairies, because everything they touch is magical! Macadamia nuts have never been a favorite of mine, unless they were baked into a cookie, of course. I knew they were keto-friendly, and I'd tried a few other items from The Granola Bakery, so I decided to give them a shot. My first bite was a little disappointing; I guess I didn't understand the fuss. My second bite was pure bliss, and the rest of them were just as good. In every way, these are ideal. They have just a hint of sweetness and provide the crunch that I've been missing from my snacks. The hint of cinnamon complements the buttery flavor of macadamia nuts, and the 1/3 cup serving size (more than almonds) is generous. Did I mention that each serving has only one net carb? With the price of macadamia nuts, this is a great deal, and they're so much better than the ones I've had before that I wanted to eat them right out of the bag, but I knew I wouldn't be able to restrain myself. In fact, I'm already on my way back to place an order for my second bag.
These, sweet baby Jesus, are delectable. I'm going to the movies this weekend, and since I can't eat popcorn, I'll definitely be sneaking these in!.
When I first bought these candied macadamias, I was so addicted to them that my husband and I went through a single bag in two days. So I bought another one, and it was just as addictive as the first, but when the first batch arrived after subscribing to three bags per month, it was terrible! The overwhelming flavor of cinnamon nearly knocked me out. The macadamia had lost its sweetness. Instead, they were revolting. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy cinnamon, but there's a time and a place for everything. I contacted the seller and asked if they'd changed the recipe (it also came in different packaging), and I was told that they had indeed changed the recipe to include more cinnamon, and that it had been a source of much debate in their company, and that the cinnamon addicts had apparently won and ruined the macadamia crunch recipe. br>br>I say this to anyone reading this review: If you enjoy a strong cinnamon flavor that overpowers everything else, this is the recipe for you. If you prefer balance and sweetness, as well as the ability to detect the macadamia nuts, either request that the Granola Factory return to the original recipe or look elsewhere. These aren't cheap items, so why take a chance? br>br>I'm canceling my subscription until these issues are resolved.
So I wasn't on the Keto diet. To tell you the truth, I had no idea what keto was. I saw a photo of these on Facebook, and it came with a glowing recommendation. I like nuts, particularly macadamia, and cinnamon, so I placed an order. br>I was concerned about the price because $13 seemed high for a bag of nuts, but nuts are a costly snack in comparison. br>I was hooked after only 5 of these amazing macadamia nuts! At first, the flavor seemed too (what is the polar opposite of bold). also, faint They're also more "moist" than I'm used to in a nut (I know, we all love that word). However, after five nuts, I began to understand. OH MY GOSH, THEY ARE AMAZING! br>And now for the big reveal. As I previously stated, I had no idea what Keto was, so you can imagine that dieting isn't something I enjoy or engage in as frequently as I should. So imagine my surprise when, a few days after starting to snack on these, I noticed that I wasn't craving the sugar snacks/desserts that I usually crave; I was eating a small handful of these whenever I would have normally grabbed a sugar snack (licorice, ice cream, cake, pie, cookies, etc) and found that I had completely lost my cravings. br>Believe me when I say I wasn't trying to lose weight and had no idea it would happen to me. That is precisely what happened. I believe that even if I eat a little bit more than I should as a serving or as frequently as I should, it is 100% better than the alternative!! br>My main issue with these nuts is that I ran out of them after about a week and forgot to order more. I despise the price, but I believe my grocery bill will be reduced as a result of the "snacks" these will replace. So, yes, a thumbs up!
P. Coconut oil, I believe, is responsible for the "moist. ".
I do get to take out the sugar alcohols, so each serving has only 5 grams of carbs. These are so worth it, even with only 5 grams of carbs! (Not to mention the fact that I only consume 15 grams of carbohydrates per day. ) ) I've been making my own glazed nuts for a few years now, but they're not that much more expensive than buying all of the ingredients separately and making them at home. I'm not sure if I'll stop making my own, but I'm sure I'll be buying more of these on a regular basis. br>br>However, because these nuts are so delicious, it's easy to overindulge without realizing it. I quickly got out my kitchen scale and snack baggies to portion them out after opening the bag and tasting a few. Place all of the baggies into an airtight container or canister to keep them fresh when preportioned into the less airtight than mylar baggies. I like to keep a large container in the pantry and then keep a few bags of different types of snacks in a canister on the counter, similar to a cookie jar. This way, I can have a snack whenever I want, but the larger portion of servings is not opened every day.
