Questions & Answers
recently chose to purchase Planters Roasted Pecans, which are toasted in peanut oil, as stated on the container. Having never made cashews, I have no idea how they're done. I am sorry I could not be of more help If you love pecans, then you're in luck
It is a bag of whole cashews, not pieces, and it is larger than normal. They are lightly salted and have a delicate flavor.
You are right. There is oil in it. Dry-roasted nuts are not suitable for this product.
My confusion was the same as yours. There are actually 2 lbs and 1 lb of content inside. It does equal 18 oz when you weigh 25 oz. About 5 oz.

There was an inside weight of 28 pounds. I received two packages this week, one of dog food and this. The package wasn't damaged, but when I took the items out and opened the cashews, the product looked damaged. As soon as the foil liner was folded back, the package had been opened. The foil liner is supposed to be sealed and not over the top of the product. What a waste of time! These are too toxic for us to eat. Is anyone aware of who opened the package.
There are bits and pieces of information to be found. He is burnt. The gross total. We threw away half a can of overpriced nuts because they weren't that tasty. This does not seem to be the whole story. This product should be advertised as rotten whole cashews with most of the pieces being about 1/8th of an inch in size. There was a stale smell to them. It wasn't until later that I understood why. Attached is a picture of how the can was damaged outside. I used to buy nuts from Planters because they were the best in The quality control staff seemed to have been fired and the prices raised. They were overpriced by a wide margin. The reception was extremely positive, especially looking at Several discussions will be held with Planters and Amazon in the next few days. Let me know when I receive their response so I can update this review. Disappointed to the point of indignation. It is even possible to find a brand that says whole cashews but doesn't deliver them. This may be the cashew for you if you're into burnt, rotten, stale and not whole cashews. Despite their good looks, they did not satisfy us and half the can will be thrown away. Having recently started to shop for groceries online, I've been shocked at how convenient it is. I have a bad taste in my mouth after eating these. In both the literal and metaphorical senses. My thanks to you for reading this review and I hope it is helpful for you for knowing what you will The reality is that manufacturers do not give a damn about marketing hype or.
Recently, I bought an off-brand of Deluxe Whole Cashews at a lower price. This contained about two-thirds whole cashews and a third or less of halfs or quarters. Therefore, I decided to buy PLANTER'S Deluxe Whole Cashews (same size can) for a lot more money, thinking these would be a better selection. You are incorrect! The quality was identical to the cheaper brand. About two-thirds of the cashews were whole, the rest were 1/2's and quarters. Approximately 1/4 of an ounce. Planters are so different from the picture on the can that I would not have thought they would be this different! Not worth the price!! It is tasty, but not worth the price!.
I have to say that this is my favorite snack. When I was employed as a produce clerk at a local grocery store, I got used to cashews really quickly. Our department used to have bulk nuts, and one of my favorite jobs was to fill the cashews whole. It is the salty, oily smell of cashews that truly appeals to As soon as I got the jar of cashews, I took it to work to share with my colleagues, and we finished it within one day. Even though it probably wasn't the best decision for me to bring this in, there were no complaints about the cashews and people asked when I would be bringing in more. In this situation, I wish I had more now, but at this price it will be much later than sooner.
There is an option of 4 LB. My 18 was good and I am pleased with it. You may purchase 25 oz. In spite of this, Amazon is being extremely sleazy by promoting It seems unfair that a 4 LB option is in the 'Best Deal' category when it's effectively twice as much Selling is one thing, lying is another. And these guys are lying their a$$ off.
However, they are not what I think of as While I don't mind the bits and pieces, I think there shouldn't be so many pieces when you pay for WHOLE Cashews.
They were very stale and did not seem to be crunchy at all. They don't appear to have been damaged in any way, but they taste like they were roasted several days ago and have been packaged for several days since. There was either moisture inside the can or it had somehow gotten wet. The first time that I have received a can of nuts that cannot be eaten was this week. Despite my best efforts, I am not satisfied with the It is my understanding that I deserve my money back.
This item was originally purchased so I can make my own vegan cashew-based yogurt I tried to make a few tomato-based sauces, but I wasn't able to. The household ate all of the idle snacks it could find in 18 hours of idle munching. Several days from now, I'll be preparing the 25oz canister. Ultraviolet radiation is something I stay away from There is a lack of healthy snacks due to the abundance of processed food. Nuts are a great option to fill this void. They're quick, convenient, and minimally processed, so I always keep them in the pantry. Delicious and really satisfying, these cashews are perfect for any snack time.
