Cashews are extremely poisonous, and even touching them can cause you to become burned. They aren't really raw, despite the fact that it says so. In their processing facility, they heat them in some way.

We eat a lot of cashews as a vegan family of five. To make our coffee creamer, I blend cashews, vanilla extract, and water in our Vitamix every morning. We use cashews in sauces, dressings, and even burgers, so we're familiar with them. We're also aware that purchasing cashews can be a complete gamble. Despite the fact that the supplier is the same. In fact, I purchased these because my usual brand was out of stock. These cashews were fantastic, and I'm coming back for more (crossing my fingers). Best wishes to you.
So, despite the fact that I've never had a nut allergy or any other type of allergy, I had a severe reaction to these. I've always loved cashews, but after eating two of them, I felt a huge weight descend on me, and I was terrified. I was afraid I'd pass out in the middle of class because it was difficult to sit up straight and even maintain my breathing. It was one of the most terrifying experiences I've ever had. I'm not sure if it's because they're raw and whatever I'm reacting to hasn't been neutralized, or if it's something else entirely. I had no idea that raw cashews were such a health risk, and you should consider including a warning on your product.
The last few months have been difficult for me to find good organic cashews on Amazon. I received a fantastic batch from Food to Live in the early fall of 2016 - I've had some of the best cashews in my life - large, crisp, pale in color, and flavorful So I placed another order with them and received a batch of the worst cashews I've ever tasted - stale, gummy, and flavorless, with dark splotches Food to Live products have a long history of having this issue. They come in a wide range of quality, so you never know what you'll get. The Food to Live cashews were not edible (by humans), so I left them out for the Blue Jays, who seemed to enjoy them. At the very least, they kept the Jays from raiding the cat food for a while. br>br>After that, I tried Terrasoul organic cashews. Although better than the previous batch from Food to Live, they are bland, soft, and gummy. Not in the least bit fresh and crisp. I blended them into salad dressings to add body and thickness while allowing other ingredients to take center stage. Overall, this film was a letdown. br>br>Then I tried Jiva Organics (this product), and I think they're a little better than Terrasoul cashews. However, they are quite similar. With only a smidgeon of real cashew flavor, it's not crisp and fresh. They won't be joining the Blue Jays - They aren't as bad as they appear to be - But they'll almost certainly end up in salad dressings and cooked dishes as well. It's not good enough to eat on its own. br>br>I wish I could find a dependable source of organic cashews of good quality. I'd be willing to pay a higher price for them.
Jiva Organics is amazing, and I'm so glad I discovered them on Amazon. This is ideal for making milks and cooking for me because I eat a mostly vegan diet. Here's some helpful advice: when looking at other cashew reviews on Amazon, look at the most recent ones rather than the averages. COVID has changed the way we source a lot of our food, and based on the feedback we've gotten, it appears that in the last six months or so, we've made some significant changes. Many cashew suppliers have had difficulty obtaining cashews in recent months due to negative feedback on their products. Jiva seemed to have a good supply, so I ordered a 2 pound bag. I'm very happy with it, and I'll order more next time. The product is organically certified, and it tastes great. In addition, I admire the company's efforts to help India's underserved communities.
I could hear air when I squeezed the package slightly because the bag wasn't properly sealed. The cashews had a moldy, "earthy" flavor to them, and the color was off, indicating that they were not fresh. I've had raw cashews before, and they weren't as good as this. Very let down. Because this item does not have a return option, I would not purchase from this seller again.
These cashews are to die for. They were purchased a week ago, and the bag is nearly empty. They're very addictive, and once you start eating them, you can't stop. I was a little worried because I'm used to roasted and salted cashews, but these are far superior and far healthier. When you eat them, they have almost a creamy texture. They're popular with my children as well. I highly recommend them, and we'll be purchasing more of them in the future.
I've been a member of Amazon since 1998 and have only left a couple of negative reviews during that time. This is the first food item I've tried to return, and I've just learned there isn't a way to do so. These cashews were past their prime and had gone bad. From Terrasoul cashews, I exited the reservation. I've never had a freshness issue with that brand, and if I were the vendor, I'd rather have a return than a negative review. However, that is merely my opinion.
Soak 15- After soaking 20 nuts in warm water for a few hours, I blended them up to a liter with warm water in my Blendtec. 30 seconds of zapping Fill a jug with it - There's no need to filter this! In the fridge, it will keep for three days. They're also delicious when eaten raw.
