Questions & Answers
According to their website, they are located on a 40-acre farm in Madera, California. There was no mention of Vietnam in my search.
I just received a bag three weeks ago, and it was incredibly fresh and light-colored, just as it should be.
They are gluten-free, to be sure.
They appear to be from a family farm in the United States, according to my research. I don't know anything else.

The first time I ordered these for my husband (who is a huge cashew fan), the bag we got was stale, labeled as pecans on the back, and had an expiration date that was only a few months away! These cashews are labeled as premium organic, roasted without any added oil, and seasoned with sea salt. I figured they'd be healthier than the warehouse club cashews he'd been buying for years because they weren't fried in peanut oil. I believed they were worth the additional money ( approximately 50% more ) and they are if you get a new bag. br>I had intended to remove them from our subscribe and save list, but I forgot, and I'm glad I did! The following bag was excellent and fresh, with a one-year expiration date. Because they're so good, we'll keep buying them. br>However, because of the issue with the first bag, I will only give them three stars.
Because it's a large bag with a good price, I take a few handfuls (at least a few days' worth) and put them in a jar or ziplock bag. The rest goes back into the original bag to be frozen. You'll never guess what I discovered. FROZEN, THEY ARE DELICIOUS! They don't harden into a rock and break your teeth; instead, they soften into the consistency of good chocolate and taste delicious right out of the freezer. It's now my absolute favorite way to consume them. I've returned, and I'll return again. Thank you for providing organic cashews at such a reasonable price!.
These cashews have disappointed me greatly. Flavorless, crumbled, and salted excessively. I agree with other reviewers that I believe Amazon is a good way to get rid of subpar items. Last year, I received a gift of Braga organic mixed nuts, which were of excellent quality and tasted great. I expected to receive the same high-quality organic nuts that I had previously received, but these are terrible, and I will never order Braga products again. They're also overpriced for the level of service they provide. A big thumbs down!.
These cashews are the best I've ever had, and I'm a picky son of a b. You'll notice a big difference if you buy these and some Costco cashews. These aren't overly roasted (as evidenced by the lighter brown color), have a smoother texture, and have a better flavor. I recommend grabbing a handful of these fine nuts and stuffing them into and around your mouth. Cashews are a delicacy.
I got this product directly from the manufacturer for free shipping in 10-pound increments. I was ecstatic when I discovered that I could get two pounds on Amazon without having to pay for shipping. However, I believe that this is yet another example of producers and suppliers using Amazon to get rid of less-than-perfect products. These Amazon nuts are far from being outcasts. They're still tasty nuts, and I'd give them a 5-star rating if I hadn't bought them directly from the producer. They were given a star. However, the ones I bought on Amazon were a tad too big. For my taste, it was roasted and not as fresh as it could have been. They might have been preferred by someone else. My husband, who is usually picky and opinionated, was unconcerned. It's possible that the difference is due to the additional time spent passing through the Amazon warehouse. br>Updated on February 7, 2014: Doug Braga's personal response convinced me that the product variation was due to chance rather than the Amazon supply chain. In any case, I have yet to come across a better organic cashew.
With the Cashews, there is only one issue. They are the best I have ever tasted, but they only last a short time and I have to constantly reorder them.
This is a new product. delectable During Coronavirus restrictions, this is a good source of protein, but don't eat too many in one sitting. br>150 calories in 1/4 cup of nuts (a small handful). yummmm! 😋jlp.
When I opened the shipping envelope, the plastic bag containing the cashew nuts had burst and was nearly shredded, spilling all of the nuts inside. This means they are no longer safe to eat because they are no longer in the plastic bag and are instead loose inside the shipping envelope, where they have become contaminated. I'm not pleased with myself.
