This cashew is delicious. To be completely honest. It's difficult to imagine nuts not being good after being smothered in butter, sugar, and coconut. They'd be great on top of ice cream or as a little pre-dinner pick-me-up snack. br>br>However, I believe the three 8oz bags are underwhelming in terms of value. I understand cashews/nuts are expensive, but I was surprised at how small the 8oz bags were when they arrived. The coconut toffee coating appears to add a lot of weight to the cashews, so you don't get as many as you might expect. br>br>The overall taste is great, but the coconut flavor is very subtle. I gave some to my boyfriend to try, and until I told him otherwise, he had no idea they were coconut flavored. If you're a coconut connoisseur like me, these may not be enough. Even if you aren't a huge fan of coconut, you will likely enjoy these. br>br>Overall quality, flavor, and freshness receive four stars. Overall value gets a one-star rating.
I bought these as a "treat" rather than a snack, and I'm very happy with the presentation and flavor. I'll reorder them, but not as something I'd use on a regular basis. br>br>In my opinion, the value for money is less than three stars. These are 8oz packages, so they're not big, and they're not big enough for more than two people. And when you consider the size of the packaging and whether you really want to pay that much for cashews, the price is staggering. In my case, I'll pay it once in a while because the flavor was incredible, but I'll never buy these to keep in the pantry as every-day snacks. Snacks for the day br>br>If you have a special event coming up and want to have a treat on hand, I recommend giving these a try. These aren't "kid snacks," but they are definitely adult snacks, in my opinion. For me, the combination of flavors was fantastic. It's too bad they felt compelled to go "crazy" with the pricing.
Because I'm such a sucker for these, I've ordered the Wickedly Prime Roasted Coconut Toffee Cashews three times this month. The 1. 5 oz. Snack packs are ideal for tossing in my bag (and preventing me from overindulging). They're the perfect combination of sweet and salty, with a hint of coconut flavor. In response to customer complaints that there aren't enough cashews, I advise potential buyers to keep in mind that the small packs are intended to be eaten as a snack. If you want more than a snack, get one of the larger bags so you can eat to your heart's content (which you will, believe me).
These things are incredibly addictive! I have them with me at all times! I even sneak it into the theater with me! I put them in my yogurt and ice cream because I like how crunchy they are! br>I used to order the large bags because I ate so much, but now that I smuggle them everywhere, buying the smaller bags is more convenient. On the downside, I find the small batch bags to be a little bitter; hopefully, this will pass soon, as I've had the better quality ones before, and I'm confident it will revert to the old taste without the bitterness. br>The only advantage of Amazon Prime is that I can buy it with a monthly subscription to save money on each bag.
Oh, my goodness, until now, cashews were my favorite nut. These are even better than I expected, and my friends agree that a warning label should be placed on the package because the crunchy, mildly sweet cashews will vanish quickly once opened. br>They're unlike anything I've ever had before. It's difficult to close the package and store them once they've been opened, even if you want to save some for later. When I find myself reaching for them again, literally craving more, "later" is usually just a few minutes. In my mouth, I'm having a Happy Party. br>This may sound corny and extreme, but it's all true, which is why I never order less than three packages at a time, despite the fact that I often regret not ordering more.
The nuts aren't bad in and of themselves. They did, however, stick together like a big toffee chunk when shipped in the heat. They were able to break up fairly easily, but it was not something they had anticipated. The biggest letdown is that the items sent (three in total) have an expiration date of 07/18/2018. I wasn't expecting to go through three bags of nuts in a matter of weeks. It makes me wonder how good the quality would have been if they hadn't been so close to expiration.
These could be one of two things if you like crunchy roasted cashews with a hint of toffee and a hint of coconut. If you're one of those people who can only eat a small amount of food, this is your best friend. Or your worst enemy if you can't put the bag down because they're so delicious. br>Try them out and let me know what you think.
Although vanilla isn't listed as an ingredient, that's exactly what they taste like; they don't taste like coconut or toffee, which is disappointing. If you're into that kind of thing, they're ridiculously sweet. The crunch factor is fine, but the tapioca flavoring is so strong that you can't taste anything else (I'm assuming this is what gives it the vanilla flavor). The sweetness of the scent is also overpowering. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy sweets to an unhealthy degree, but these are simply sugar on top of sugar, and not in a good way.
