The answer I was looking for wasn't on the TerraSoul website, so I sent an email to their customer service department. The company responded to me pretty quickly, and I am glad to provide the relevant parts of their response here. I will post a second answer with that information if they send it to me later. While this answers the question in part, it does not provide a definitive response. It just has to be said that I think Brazil nuts taste just as good raw as they do cooked. It's impossible to tell whether they have ever been heated. In addition, Terrasoul Brazil nuts meet all of the minimally processed criteria listed below I will - The following certifications are issued by the USDA National Organic Program As our certifying body, CCOF is responsible for our certification. You raise an excellent point. It's up to you to do your own research, however, because I'm not certain. Brazil nuts happen to be an excellent source of selenium for my specific needs, so I came across it by chance. I would assume that selenium is also good for neurological health, so you should be fine. Could you please remind me of your question, you forgot to ask it? A little humor here ( heheeh )

It turns out that 6 of my fillings are actually 50% mercury - I was poisoned by it. The fillings that are called "amalgams" are all metal. I began to have symptoms of a stroke about 25 years ago. According to recent studies, selenium is capable of detoxifying The detoxification process becomes a lot safer with this solution, which is crucial because when you start flushing mercury out of the fatty tissues where it tends to accumulate, it can shift into other tissues! My naturopath suggested that I eat a lot of these per day, and within a few days (in addition to the detox program, of course) all of my symptoms subsided. In fact, I've been working on it for months now without any serious headaches going along with it. In the same way, earaches are a nuisance. I cannot emphasize enough how happy I am I will order a 2lb bag of bad this time, and I will keep them in the refrigerator. The high fat content of nuts causes almost all of them to go bad.
Raw Brazil nuts that I ordered from Amazon did not meet my expectations in terms of quality. There is a mold smell to many of the nuts. I dislike it a lot. The quality of the product was unacceptable.
Cashews taste much better than I remember them tasting. The material was bland and had an unpleasant smell and taste to it. It contained mold on some As far as I know, cashews (almost) always have mold on them, so I guess you just have to accept that. They did not taste fresh and had a moldy smell, so I won't buy them ever again. Perhaps they will be fresh another time, but as of now, Dec 2018 (the date I purchased them), they are not.
In the second attempt, it was not as intense. It was delicious the first time I bought it. The food all tasted fresh and was tangy. I bought another bag in hopes of getting the same results. I literally had a mixed bag of results this time around. I found most of the nuts to be crunchy and tasty as the first time. Unfortunately, there were far too many I thought I had just been hit by a fluke when the first bad nut happened. The first thing I did was chew and Having eaten the rest of the bag, I'd say 90% of the chocolates are good, but there were a lot of bad ones mixed in that I couldn't consume. This is quite strange, and also a bit Given that this is a good company (I buy other products from them), they have good customer service, so I'm going to say that this is probably very unusual, and I am confident that you will have a very positive experience, so give them the benefit of the doubt.
The Brazil nuts sometimes you get in a bag have a bad flavor. This has been noticed by me occasionally. It has been getting worse over the past few months though, with more and more bags tasting bad. This most recent bag however was still good. Having tried to chew at least four different servings, I had to throw away most of them, as they tasted rancid when chewed. Perhaps it was a bad lot that was fabricated when bagging them? I am not sure what has changed, so not sure why I can't keep purchasing this product.
I will not buy from this company.
If you love this flavor, you will definitely enjoy this product! When we opened them, they arrived very well packaged, tasted very fresh, and I tended to keep them in the refrigerator, as we're supposed to do with nuts after we open them up. TerraSoul has provided me with several items that I have liked in the past, so I was fairly confident that I would enjoy these as well. There is a subscribe and save option, so I will definitely sign up for that since I will continue to want these for many years. This would be a great addition to your keto lifestyle if you wanted something that was more flavorful than Macadamia nuts. These nuts are very low in carbs, one There is no way to overstate how highly I recommend them.
