Their label does not describe any organic certification, so they are not organically certified. If the label does not show the organic certification, then you cannot claim an organic product is "all natural" or "better than organic.". I am curious to hear if anyone knows anything about how this company sources their nuts. However, there is no indication on their website that special efforts are made to ensure that their nuts are sourced from non-chemical fertilizer or pesticide farms, herbicide farms, organic farms, or farms producing GMOs.
Nuts are not required to be pasteurized in most places and I am unsure if these have been pasteurized. Similarly, these would also contain selenium since Brazil nuts are naturally rich in it. It's a delicious and fresh snack, by the way.

This seems to be the case with larger nuts. It is difficult for me to think about what would have happened if we had run into each other. So, besides that one rogue nasty nut, I've eaten these each morning and they've been as fresh as they can be. My husband's selenium toxicity was a result of eating too many nuts, but I have not cut back to 2 nuts per day (a reviewer wrote of her husband's excessive consumption of nuts) and I am satisfied with the quality of the nuts this company sells. Although I won't need to order more for a while, I will definitely purchase this product again for my nut cravings at a later point
