The nuts arrived in the mail for me. I thought there were a few bad ones in the bag when I tasted a few. It wasn't just a few after all, after all. They're all terrible. My mouth is raw as a result of their actions. I felt as if I had consumed some sort of chemical; the only thing different was the nuts, which I would gladly return if I had the opportunity. This product should be avoided at all costs, and your mouth should be taken care of. Oh Nuts should not be eaten.
These taste like dirt and have an unpleasant chalkiness to them. Unlike many other bags of brazil nuts I've tried, I can't sit and eat these for pleasure. However, I eat selenium-rich foods. I'm not sure if I got a stale or rancid batch, but I suppose you get what you pay for at that price. I will not be purchasing these in the future. Not ever! br>br>all right. br>br>all right. br>br>all right Two weeks ago, I penned the above. I'm about a quarter of the way through the bag, and the nut flavor has improved slightly but is still not great. The top half of the bag had to be a particularly bad batch of nuts.
I'm going to buy some more of these.
Unfortunately, the texture and taste are nothing like Brazil nuts, not even close; in fact, none of the ones I received tasted like the real thing; in fact, as ridiculous as it sounds, these nuts tasted like they were artificially made to physically resemble Brazil nuts butn't taste like them.
This is my third order of this product, and this package contains tiny nuts with nothing to do with "fresh jumbo nuts. " I eat 0. It used to take about 4 units to get 5 oz of water per day; now it takes 6 units. The Portuguese word for this size nut is "restolho," which refers to whatever is left after a selection process, such as a barrel scrape. br>This was not at all what I had anticipated after ordering it previously. Please see the image attached. For my disappointment, I give it three stars. Sell them as small or tiny nuts; packaging isn't an issue because my misplaced order arrived in a generic bag with a note explaining that they'd run out of pre-packaged nuts. bags that have been printed br>br>After purchasing again, I reduced my rating to two stars because the quality and size are now even worse.
They were fantastic in every way.
My doctor prescribed these nuts so that I would get enough selenium in my diet; he said that if I ate one tablespoon twice a week, I would get enough selenium. I had never had Brazil nuts before, and they are very tasty; I wish I could eat more than one tablespoon twice a week, but he warned me not to overdo it.
