A few years ago, this product was a good buy for me
3/5

I love raw nuts, so I have purchased Brazil nuts for a long time. The original batch of Brazil nuts I bought from "Food to Live" were really great, and I decided to buy more after I used up the previous batch. A few days later I discovered that Food to Live also had organic Brazil nuts. I decided to try a 1 lb bag, and it was much more flavorful. On my next visit, I tried the 2 pounder and this time I found the nuts to be very disappointing. About 50 percent of them were bland or their taste was very off. You can notice the difference in the bad tasting nuts from the good tasting ones. The bad tasting nuts have a distinctive taste, maybe like solvent, and are darker in color, not the nice creamy one I was imagining they ran out of good nuts and replaced them with some rejects to make up for the shortcomings. The product from Food to Live seems to be unacceptably low quality, so I'll give it another try. If it continues to be unacceptably low, I will have to discontinue purchasing Brazil's.

I found this to be tasty It's my second favorite nut, and it has a lot of benefits

Adding Brazil nuts to your diet will help you consume more selenium. It is a trace mineral that is essential for good health, but it is only required Free radicals can damage cells if they enter the body, which is why it is important to create important antioxidant enzymes. The production of free radicals is a natural process Glucose is one of the metabolic by-products of oxygen that contribute to the development of chronic diseases like cancer, heart disease, and stroke. As part of the immune system, selenium is also essential for thyroid health. Many studies have proven that selenium is an effective tool for fending off cancer. Specific types of cancer it can prevent are breast, esophageal, stomach, prostate, liver and bladder. In addition to contributing towards the death of tumors and precancerous cells. There are cancer cells in the body. Death of these cells appears to happen before they replicate, which helps stop cancer before it begins and has also been shown to slow the progress of cancer in patients who Even a small intake of Brazil nuts everyday can enhance glutathione peroxidase activity and improve selenium status in the body. The general name for this enzyme family is glutathione peroxidase, which is primarily responsible for protecting cells from oxidative damage caused by free radicals. It is because of that reason I spend so much money on a bag of nuts. Yet although it is small, it is very effective. Organic and fresh-tasting, Food To Live products are made of natural ingredients. As part of my oil-free diet that Dr. Esselstyn and Dr. McDougal recommend, I am complying with Dr. Esselstyn's recommendations. It is not permitted to consume nuts, but Brazil Nuts are a good option because of the benefits they provide. In saying that, I highly recommend the Brazil Nuts from Food To Live.

My immediate reaction was to put these in when they arrived
3/5

I put these in the refrigerator as soon as they arrived. Over the course of a few days, I ate about half of a cup of it, and I put the rest in a bag for Eventually one of them was rotten after being eaten about a dozen times. Unless you've never had a rotten nut or seed before, you're not aware of this. Anyway, I'm about a third of the way through the bag and I won't buy these again from this company.

Brazilian nuts are excellent for health and I read recently that two nuts per day were beneficial
3/5

It was recently reported that Brazil nuts contain a lot of selenium, so it is beneficial to eat two brazil nuts every day. It is particularly unwise to consume foods that do not contain vitamins and minerals I researched and found these brazil nuts to be the most economically priced brazil nuts from my search. Pesticides are very concentrated in nuts, so you should look for organic nuts. I find them to be outstanding. I love that the meat is so fresh and tasty. Haha, I keep the large bag in the refrigerator since I know my husband and I will have a long time to consume them all. It is true that I usually ingest more than TWO a The following has been added to the 2/13/16 edition It was clear from the second bag that it was Directly, I informed them of my request for a refund, and they offered it immediately. In my response, I told them I would give it another try. After receiving the third bag, I found it to be fine. The fourth bag, I received recently, was really damaged. clear portion of the packaging was cloudy because the nut dust had coated it. There was a white fungus on a number of the nuts. Many of the nuts were scraped or broken. In a statement, the company said the dust from the nuts was the cause. It certainly did not look like that, but they are probably correct. I believe in buying whole and healthy-foods such as fruits and vegetables. From my local organic retailer, I'm looking forward to buying nuts. Each of them costs one dollar. It's 56 cents per pound more, and I think that for now, it will be more appealing than eating them in their current state. This is the luck of the draw Here's the link There is something to gain from doing business Good luck! If they had been consistently good they would've had me buying for a lifetime.

Does it have a chemical flavor? What return policy do you have? Is there a pesticide taste in these nuts? Do they taste like paint Due to never having eaten paint, solvents, or pesticide spray, I am unable to identify the taste
3/5

I dare not eat more and feel uncomfortable just looking at them. They have an unpleasant, unnerving flavor, I can't eat them and they have disturbed me. After I started to return the items, I received an message stating that unreturnable items could not be returned. Is that true? It has never happened to me that Amazon would refuse to accept a return. It turns out you can buy a product that is rancid, contaminated, and unsuitable for consumption, and you will not lose I would say that this is a very unethical and poor business practice.
