What a terrible thing to happen! like something that had been sitting around for a long time. It wasn't possible to find an expiration date on them, so I'm not sure if they are old, or if they're bad. I compared them to another brand of sprinkles I had on hand and those tasted like sugar. These tasted like cardboard. Sorry to hear that. Those will end up in the garbage, so I see no point in spending money on them.
They are horrible in taste. I bought these so I could make fairy toast. It is nice to have round sprinkles on cupcakes and donuts, but the taste is horrible.
